They won't do it. I fear we're stuck with him mucking around for another year. Way too many fools "He's just one player away from being respectable!"

Respectable is just another word for mediocre.

The school doesn’t care about basketball. It’s weird. They seem to care way more about football which is fine by me, but our basketball ceiling is much higher.

Football is damn near impossible to break through the glass ceiling where it can definitely be done in basketball

Was that close enough for a moral victory? Hard to tell. . .

That is where you need more NIL deals for players who are in the transfer portal. This is key to plug in key starters on the roster. Also, will need good backups and depth. Look at Ole Miss and Arkansas. Those two are very active getting players from there. Drinkwitz is still learning on the job and the team didn't do as well as I thought they would do. This is why some of the experts are giving this team an average win ratio this fall. Only way to change that is plug in more good players from the transfer portal that will make huge impact this fall. Then you have freshmen that are 4* and 1 5* and they may have a learning curve in the first year if they are planning to be starters this fall. That is why I am giving Drinkwitz time to build the roster to give him a chance to compete against the rest of the SEC teams that have much better players at most to all position. I have no idea what the win total will be for this fall. That is why I am in a wait and see approach. Hope Drinkwitz gets it done and surprises most of us.
