Up here in frigid Minnesota, we men develop that muscle to the point that it retracts all the way up to behind the nipples.

Think they said the same thing at first with Gant and Dixon is all. Way too many nut shots in my lifetime.

I’m a bit worried about MPJ myself. If it’s a hip pointer, or sciatica it could take some time, which is about all that helps those things along with physical therapy.

TB says he’s on the plane to Utah, so that’s something.

Twitter says that is false. Guess we’ll find out tomorrow evening.

Ashton West, CEO of Hoop Focus, said on Twitter, “Just to let y’all know... the MPJ injury is a WHOLE LOT more serious than what you’ve been told.

That’s all I’ll let on.”

I mean, maybe, but I'm pretty skeptical that a guy from Hoops Focus knows something that the beat guys do not. That's highly suspect to me.

Above all, I just really hate that the all too familiar fatalism of Mizzou fans is in full force again.

Goodness, I really wanted to enjoy this season.

Definitely hear you there. How Mizzou would it be for his Mizzou career to last 2 minutes? At least it would be something to laugh at in 10 years.. but boy would that hurt right now.

I think it's a PR mistake not to comment, however vaguely, on his injury. Just say something (and that "I'm no doctor" shite doesn't cut it.) We've heard back/leg/hip. For all we know, it may simply be that he had an erection lasting more than 6 hours.

But absolute secrecy about the kid who was 99% responsible for re-energizing the fan base doesn't build trust in a new coach and AD.

Yep. No Porter Jr. for the Advocare Invitational Tournament.

Without MPJ, @Utah, @UCF, and the Advocare Invitational will be tough games. Throw Braggin' Rights in there if he doesn't play for that one too.

tough, but still winnable. If I remember hearing correctly, UCF will be without two starters for a few weeks.

Nobody knows that. Purely speculation.

IF he's back by December though, that's good news.
