Did not follow his recruiting closely before his commitment to K-State. Do we have a chance with him?

Slightly related question - Glanced at his 247 page. What is the attraction for MO kids to go to middling Big 10 programs where they will spend 85% of their school year in Arctic conditions. I would understand getting excited about an offer from Michigan, Michigan State, or from the criminal at Ohio State. I don't understand what could possibly be attractive about Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, etc.

Minnesota, ya, weird. But so much tradition at Iowa and Wisconsin.

I think this depends on Steward. If the coaches think his injury is career ending, then maybe recruit another RB. Otherwise there are a lot of bodies here. Witter, Abbington, Williams, Doughrty, Strong, Walters, & a back from Texas.

History, Tradition, Location (some of these places are close), Academics, Midwestern appeal. We also have winter. It's not like its some foreign thing to us. They just happen to be a bit colder, and get a bit more snow. Personally, I like snow.

Minnesota actually has a bit of tradition too. Not recent, but they used to be a powerhouse in the 50's and 60's

I don't think Mizzou recruited this kid all that hard.

Coach Kill help start the tradition at Webb City. Since he started at Webb they have won 14 state championship's in 27 years.

He has quite a few coaches in his coaching tree in Missouri.

Last year Webb's best player went to Minnesota. He wasn't recruitted hard by Mizzou.

It's probably the same with other coaches or their asst. coaches in the Big 10. High School head coaches have a lot of influence on their players.
