I suspect most schools are already looking at reducing the resources they throw at recruiting. Why look for diamonds in the rough if they will be leaving after their breakout season?
Keep recruiting simple and do your best with the free agent market.

Nice! But daddy is Jeremiah son is Josiah. But there is a Jeremiah Jr playing for the Eagles. I would take him too. Looks like we have a big upgrade at LBs.

I didn't watch any WVU football this year but this seems like a fantastic pickup. Big 12 defensive freshmen of the year, 3 years of eligibility remaining

May I suggest Brendon Lewis from Nevada as our next QB. Hell of a dual threat, good size, fast 40 yard dash and a definite upgrade in arm strength. Also only 1 year of eligibility.

I like Roberts but he isn't as effective in the outside/stretch zone.

He looked pretty good running it vs Bama and Oklahoma.

Schrader wasn't a speed back and neither was LR3. You need vision, patience, and burst.

Can't blame the kid for getting paid.

Luper is a top 5 recruiter/developer at his position and arguably is #1. He is demanding. Ball leverage and assignment execution outweigh any physical upside In his room. Lacy had problems with both. Roberts put the ball on the ground a couple times but his blitz recognition and overall blocking is very sound. He can take on the Mike and his chips on the edge are very effective. He can run through contact too. Luper liked to let Carroll close out drives and it was effective. He needs 2 TDs in the bowl to tie Abron/Jones/Schrader/Badie/LR3 with 14.

My point is that RB isn't a room I'm worried about.

I would like to take a run at adding Dante Dowdell from Nebraska. Bigger back with 1 cut and run ability. He was their workhorse last year. He and Robert's would be a good 1,2.

If we have a good O-line, our running back room is more than satisfactory.

QB is the #1 concern in the portal now. Is DE our next priority? Left tackle?

I think so, but I'm no expert.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but with Lacy gone aren't we down to 1 RB with experience but used primarily for his pass blocking? Adding an experienced rb who led his team in carries and yards is a great replacement for Lacy.

Edit: looks like Ahmad Hardy and the Army RB are coming in for visits.

Maybe he is actually taking advantage of that free education.

I know nothing about this kid. But grab him!

Who else is a decent option at this point? (In anxious tone).
