I check a lot, but the past few days I've been packing for a move. So, I've been to busy to check as often.
Normally? I check way more often than anyone should!

I'm constantly here. Working at home on the computer all day makes this place the most visited site on my chrome.
Semo, I asked before but I don't know if I saw the answer. Are you leaving Columbia?

Mizzeaux, here is partially the reason for my guarded optimism. Comparing the 2 games against high school teams, last years game, Mizzou might have won by a bigger margin than this years but compare these numbers:
PASSING
J. Franklin 13/21; 131; 1TD; 0 INT
J. Franklin 26/38; 318; 3TD; 0 INT
RUSHING(Top 3)
K. Lawrence 10 for 121yds; 2TD
J. Franklin 6 for 39yds; 0TD
M. Murphy 5 for 32; 0TD
H. Josey 13 for 113; 1TD
R. Hansbrough 8 for 104; 2TD
M. Murphy 7 for 56; 1TD
Receiving is much the same, I don't feel like typing 10 different guys. Even though we won by a larger margin last year against SELA, the offense was actually much more effective in this years game. Now the flip side was that the defense and special teams last year was more effective in scoring, but I think they'll come around.

It's a good comparison, but mine comes down to one thing.
For as long as I can remember being a Mizzou fan and paying real attention to games there were always three or four plays where I was wondering WTF they were thinking. Just bad plays, dumb moves, horrible execution, etc. There were a lot of times when I was just flabbergasted at the stupidity of some plays.
I don't think I remember asking WTF once while watching the last game, and I can't remember the last time that happened.
The stats seem to back up what I saw, a good game after everything settled and everyone got their head on straight. I hope they can keep it going.

Yes, it's time for a new chapter in life. Moving next weekend, the 14th.

Once the actual moving is done, changing locations is always fun and exciting.
I'd like to move now, but I'm afraid of how much stuff we've accumulated over the past seven years in this house.
Good luck.

Thanks, Mizzeaux. And yes - fun and exciting, but at the same time, it's a pain in the arse to go through all the crap. It'a truly amazing how much stuff you can accumulate. Kitchen stuff, clothes, decorative stuff, boxes of memories, garage and yard stuff, etc. It's a pain.

Now that you say that, you're right. I don't remember once going wtf are we running that for on 3rd and long or 4th and 11 in the wrong end of the field.

A couple things I liked: the running plays were designed to get up field quick. A lot of the runs last year were slow developing or the back was running lateral.
I also think there were no empty backfield sets.

Noticed this as well. Love the idea of never having Franklin alone back there. Also having a TE on the line as opposed to split out in the slot.

On the way to work today, got in the car and caught the tail end of a segment on Mike & Mike so I'm not sure who they were even talking about(don't think it was Josey but not sure). They were talking about some college player who received a game ball and how it was an improper benefit and how he wouldn't actually be able to accept or get the game ball now but that the school would have to hold on to it until after he was out of school.
Anyone else catch this? If true, what bullshite. A frickin football? Ridiculous.

It wasn't a violation. It goes towards the amount of gifts a player can receive during a school year from the school.

Ahhhh, thanks notsince. I couldn't imagine it would be a violation.
