very tough draw. Phenomenal rebounding team so that will be very fun to watch. Just like us all their wins against good teams were at home, losses were on the road.

Louisville is our worst possible draw second round tho. They already whooped us in November without their starting center. They press and pressure which makes life tough when we only have one ball handler. Really wanted us to draw Gonzaga or Duke second round, but with all our close losses this is probably what we deserved.

Also loved seeing Oregon and Ole Miss all the way down at 12. The committee is rewarding teams who schedule good nonconference schedules, so hopefully next year we get better early season games all around.

I would have preferred a #10 seed. But, we got what we deserve. I don't understand us being in a bracket with a team that we already played this year. Louisville will be very tough for us, if we get by Co. State. This is by far, the toughest bracket.

Oh well, you have to win 6 games either way. We could play against an 8, a #1, #4, and a #2 on the way to a final four. Did we think it would be easy?

Yeah, he broke his wrist against us. The Midwest looked pretty tough as a whole, I just read it has 7 of the top 20 teams on Ken Pomeroy's ratings.

Colorado State is a legitimate team, and can give us A LOT of trouble, to be honest i think its going to be a very close game against the Rams.

If we get by them, Louisville speaks for itself. killed us in November.

If we get by them we get Saint Louis (maybe) and thats not going to be pretty either, a loss there could potentially be a blow for recruiting.

No need to worry. I don't think we get out of the first round. I'll be pulling for Mizzou hard obviously, but our inability to win close games, especially if we're not at home, doesn't give me much hope in the tourney. Agree that I would rather face any other 1 seed than Louisville.

my bad on the Dieng comment, just heard the morons on ESPN say that and assumed they were right for once! haha, You should go look at the box score from that Louisville game its pretty hilarious.

Webster-Chan played 33 minutes! No jabari Brown, we shot 10-19 FT, Bell and Ross combined for 1 FG, and Flip had 8 turnovers.

Still don't like our odds in that one, but we are a much different, better team from that moment.

I was looking at those a few days ago. It's amazing we were able to beat VCU with Webster-Chan in the lineup.

I don't mind the draw at all. 9 Seed is alot better than what we actually are IMO. Playing in the midwest near home is nice.

Apart from that you are going to play good teams in the tourney. Noone has an easy road.

Think playing COLO ST is fine 1st round. Just hope the team doesn't look ahead to Louisville.

Ville is a great team though. They killed us in the first matchup. Will be tough to make the sweet 16.

I'll be honest. I'm having a really really difficult time in my brackets picking Mizzou over Colorado State. Want to so bad but I want to win some monies even more.

Our guys are good enough the seeding doesn't matter. If they show up, they can win. If they don't, they won't regardless of team.

We lucked out with CSU. While I think they are a great team, they are a great matchup for us. Our strength is likely better than their strength and they cannot compare to us at the guard positions. Pressey shouldn't have much pressure to deal with.

Also, we may have lucked out drawing UofL. No matter how hard Pitino tries, their kids will expect to beat MU with ease because of the first meeting. We had no 2nd PG at that time and we have shortened the bench considerably since then. They are the only #1 seed that would likely take us lightly.

I didn't think of UofL under estimating us but I guess that's possible.

Also SLU is a scary match up. They are just playing great basketball. Great team mentality and play with a chip on their shoulder after their coach Magerus (idk sp) died this year. They are a feel good team IMO and if mizzou loses I'm SLU all the way

From the games I've watched, SLU plays better basketball than just about anyone in the nation. They just don't have the talent that everyone in the nation has.
