Here are a few I've done so far. I am open to suggestions. I realize "Ranter Joe" is not on the images. They are still in the works. Let me know if you like any and what kind of changes or additions I can make on the one(s) you like.

I prefer something simple like number 1. It stands out. However, I'd prefer a different font for the "R". Otherwise, it looks great!
If we can all have the same image but personalized names near the bottom, that would be cool. In that case, perhaps just our name is sufficient because it contains the word "Rantler".
What do y'all think?

Leaning toward most simple, first choice...consider adding "ZOU" across top bar of R....
It appears that Kills and I thinking along same line. OMG, how scary is that? I think when shrunk to size of desired emoticon, the more simple figure is best. I also don't think our own name has to be on figure, but still would like to see how it looks with ZOU added across top of the R.

If there is a font you like just let me know what. I'm not a great mind reader. There are several free sites out there that let you download fonts that people have have created themselves if you want to point me to a specific one or I can use one of the basic fonts that come with microsoft products.
I'll mess with sizing and I'll have some different variations of the logo a little later.

this is what I came up with. I just took an existing image off Google and edited it a little bit to make it different. I darkened the eye sockets, added an atler, sharpened the cheek bones, added the "R" to the forehead and said, "frick it. This looks good to me."

You could just go with Rantler 98.
I like the simpler approach too, but the Truman with antlers and the glass of wine made me giggle.

If someone has photoshop, you could take an image of a white tiger skull and edit deer antlers onto the tiger skull.
Then, take that image and paste it onto a black backgroud so that we can easily and quickly edit posters' names...sort of like my human skull and antlers image above.
