Porter and Mack combined for 3-12. Robinson was maybe 0-5?

Sounds about right. I cringe when we don't score in transition.

We run an NBA half court offense ... with 2 of 5 guys who can actually shoot on the court at any time.

You think they are playing down to the competition? The next two games should give us a glimpse of what this team is made of.

Our strength of schedule is an embarrassment. We need to schedule better teams like the rest of the conference. Early losses and growth don’t hurt. Going 8-2 in a weak OOC then struggling in conference does.

Guess we’ll know more at Notre Dame and then in Kansas City.

Yeah. It ramps up fine.

We have Illinois, Notre Dame and Kansas in the next few weeks.

Glad to see boatang take mack minutes

Beyond that, teams are gonna shoot us out of the gym ...

Kinda knew scoring would be tough with basically 2-3 guys who can shoot or create (and one of them is injured for the next month) .

Going back to last season, seems like when we lose to shite teams they magically get good at threes against us. Don’t understand.

Gates got his lunch taken.

Horrible job.

We were up with momentum and then he insisted on going with Mitchell, TO, Robinson, Northweather and Crews for 5+ minutes.

Then he doubles their point guard who had done nothing but dish most of the night to leave their 3 point shooter open at the end of the game.

Porter and Northweather looked like they had never played against D1 athletes. Scared to shoot ...

Never gonna win a game when the offense is dribble, dribble, dribble ... look for one guy to bull his way in paint (Mitchell) or one guy to jack a contested 3 (Crews)...

And the defense is just abysmal. You know that the Irish offense is 7 guys who jack 3s ...

We have a great recruiter and a terrible coach

I’m downgrading our season outlook to bubble team.

No chance.

I'll still watch but we're a sub .500 team once conference play starts.

Maybe getting Stone back helps but we're Kim Anderson bad in conference, not 0-18 but probably 6-12.

Eh. We’ll have to go 0-fer on the road to end up 6-12. Not impossible. But not likely. I think we’re closer to .500. The league isn’t nearly as good as last year either.
