I should have seen this coming when they looked for D players to move to O.

OL...this is my major mistake for 2015. I thought the experienced O-line was major strength of this team. It's exactly 180 degrees the opposite.

UGA has "meat on the table" for their taking. First to 20 pts. wins, and it won't be the Mizzou offense. Maybe the D and ST pull a Florida 2014? Doubt it.

How many Mizzou field goals vs. UGA on Saturday?

Lock isn't the sole answer to our offensive problems. I'm not sure anyone worth taking seriously argued he was.

Lock is as good as Maty right now, with miles of potential ahead of him.

It wouldn't have mattered if we had Peyton Manning in his prime playing QB for us Saturday night (hyperbole, but you get my point).

Lock did not play well, but he got zero help from anybody else on offense and the OL was absolutely atrocious pass blocking. No counters to that were made with play calling.

Thank you.

Boom.

He can't do it alone. The more I think about this, the more I key in on the OL. I really believe the issues start there. Straighten that out, and I believe things would come together better. I just don't think Ricker is the guy to do it. JMO.

Does anyone really miss him though? Running backwards, throwing up terrible passes, holding on to the ball for 10 minutes. At least when Lock makes a mistake he goes 100% with it. Mauk is always halfway between plays and it's infuriating to watch.

This team is last in YPP, YPG, PPG, and every other offensive category that exists.

This was against cupcakes as well.

The entire offensive game plan is terrible, from the blocking assignments on the line to the play calling. It's all very bad. If it continues I have no idea how Henson keeps his job.

The O-line is biggest dumpster fire of a mess that I have seen at Mizzou since the "glory days of the 90's". The OL is beyond pitiful. I've seen every game in person except UK. I record all games on my DVR. I replay the offensive plays from each game and watch the blocking using slow motion and stops. I'm not a scout or expert, just a fan. I could name names, but the ENTIRE O-line is guilty. To me it summed up by "lack of effort" which is hard for me to accept. Sometimes they don't start to block. Sometimes they don't finish blocks. Sometimes they miss assignments. For every dropped pass by a WR, there is the same number of missed blocks by WR's. There is no "fire in the belly" or aggressiveness. Boehm has been badly hobbled for several games which effects his play. I know the coaches are trying all the possible player combos. I say use more TE, double TE's and/or more RB blocking. Better play calling by Henson/Pinkel would help maybe. This OL could be the worst in CFB. I'm talking kansas trash level.

And I think Pinkel knows it and a lot more. I said hello to him in Memphis at the hotel before the Arky State game. He was going into a team meeting. He looked very worried and intense to me. Of course, I could be wrong.

And for everybody who talks about the playmakers (QB, RB, WR, TE), it ALL STARTS with blocking. Sure, the playmakers could and should be doing better. But it's a team sport. Lack of execution is killing Mizzou this year. The entire team and staff is responsible.

Six games and TWO (2) rushing touchdowns.

Yea they are not playing well. I think like others have said the idea of shuffling may have effected this team in a negative manner.

McGovern should have never moved from guard. A longer player such as Cuellar or Rhodes should be playing the LT. Maybe moving Boehm to guard and have Ablen play center would be the better play. I don't know like most just spit ballin.

How is it that Cuellar is so bad? On tape he looked promising.

What's going on with your oline? Injuries or inexperience?

Sounds like the perfect time for Missouri to figure things out.
