SEC fans and their hate for the OL

Just visit the Ole Miss rant. It's all Fire the OL Coach. Same with Arkansas, Tennessee, Auburn, USCe and sometimes UGA. Florida bitched for 2 years.
Maybe were missing something when it comes to coaching the OL in the SEC. Maybe with the focus on the front 7 in the SEC, it just makes it impossible to have a dominant or sometimes competent OL. I know, that doesn't explain poor play in OOC games, but is it possible it's just hard for an OL to gel when the country's best front 7 are constantly coming at you?

Yeah but the problem is our offensive line was getting beat upfront by Arkansas State and Uconn. Mizzou is the worst in the SEC in rushing yards. In fact Mizzou at one point this year was last in D-1 A FBS football in rush yards. We have the worst O-Line in the SEC by far and we have five seniors starting... No excuse what so ever. It's completely 100% on the coaching. AJ Ricker has to go.

Boehm was playing hurt up until the last 2 weeks.
With the linemen Mizzou is bringing in last year & this year the line will have the players in a couple of years.
A descent LT on this line fixes it. That would allow McGovern, one of the top guards in college to play his natural position.

I don't get the McGovern hype? Boehm is legit, but needs to work on his snaps.(some really bad snaps in the Florida game) McGovern is strong in the weight room, but gets beat bad on passing downs a little too much for me. Maybe the NFL scouts will see something different.

Somebody on tRant started a thread for "if you could trade players like the NFL". Well, I proposed a trade for a 2nd Team SEC LT for QB Mauk. No takers. I thought I might have a chance with LSU. LOL

McGovern didn't get beat when he was playing on the inside the last 2 years. He's a guard not a tackle so hasn't been as good this year.
When Mizzou got to the goal line against USCe McGovern was moved back to guard. Witter got a TD running behind him.

Britt played right tackle last year.
Seattle traded their best guard to get the TE from the Saints. Britt hasn't been as good at guard this year.

Ricker doesn't make decisions as to where guys play alone. The entire offensive staff meets together to set it. And this year with how they are struggling Pinkel is involved heavily in those decisions.

Maybe having a shitty year will get the coaches head out of their asses and get back to basics. Enough with the prepractice dancing and bullshite. And fricking teach Simon to tackle for god sakes.

McGovern is a Guard not a Tackle where they are playing him a fricking stupid idea
