I still think Macon has the edge early next season. But boy I love the comp. Would not be shocked is Horn is starter at some point next year.

I’d be shocked if Horn plays next year. We expect too much out of true freshmen. Having said that, I’d be stoked if he does.
Macon either has to make huge strides or we are screwed if he’s the starter. Just think next year is another struggle at QB

I think he does start after 2 to 3 games. These top QB recruits have spent so much time in camps and with private coaches they have more knowledge coming I. Than the traditional soph or jr. A true freshman replaced Rattler at OU. I know Lock struggled, but the offense was kind of hinky with the 1/2 field reads and dedication to the deep ball.
Plus getting his chemistry with his blue chip WR is important. No reason to have Burden running deep in CB can only throw 20 yards.

Son says he was hanging with a handful of the players in the past week. Straight from the players mouths was that it isn’t Macon or Cook transferring. Doesn’t mean one or the other doesn’t transfer but two of the players said it is Bazelak that is transferring. Anyone else hearing anything? I don’t know why active, current players would say something like that if there wasn’t something behind it. Unless it was alcohol induced.

This makes perfect sense. Whether it comes to pass, who knows? But Baze is on the internet and, unless his mother posts something, he won't find a single complimentary line about the job he's doing. You know that's hurtful.
Add the footsteps of our other qbs and, especially, the outpouring of fawning cheers for the incoming Prince Horn...and transfer could well be the result.

Add in Drink going after Rattler in the portal. It’s clear the coaching staff will be looking for answers that don’t involve Bazelak.
