Probably 2018, blew out a ranked Florida at their place on what I believe was their homecoming. Eerily similar to this week's game..

i think that is odom's only win vs a ranked team. He came close vs UGA, UK and someone else.

One could make the argument that the recent LSU win is equal to that Florida win.

Odom gets a pass with me because he recruited Bazelak. That kid is going to win us some games.

He had a chance to hang a pelt in his first conference game and let them off the hook.

And never got any better with clock and team management in the subsequent four years.

That UGA game was classic tho. He took UGA down to the last play of the game. If they don't make that play, Odom tenure would have been much different.

Not to get into the "game that got away" trijectory but for me, the Texas Bowl game was the game that would have changed things and with Josh Heupal, they would have won IMO.

The Texas bowl the whole team looked like they didn't give a shite. Not sure Heupel would have changed that.

I thought I heard somewhere that Drinkwitz was also recruiting Bazelak back then. Maybe that is why he went to Missouri?

Josh Heupel was the reason Missouri couldn't get the running game open. He was doing just like Leach was at State. Then Dooley was just a copy cat. That is why needed a change at HC that can coach and make changes.
I am wondering why Josh Heupel is not back in the Power 5 conference? Same reason as Leach!

Then Florida blew out Missouri the following year.

Crazy to think that Eli could eclipse Odom in ranked wins within 5 games of taking over.

Drinkwitz recruited CB while at APP st, which helped keep CB here when the coaching staff changed.

As much as it may pain us, we have Dooley to thank for Bazelak. Dooley convinced CB, he could design a pro offense for his skillet. No doubt the best work Dooley ever did at Mizzou.
