Good. I don't want him worrying about that. He knows how he's been playing.

Good.

Let's make it easy for him to quit, he knows Lock is coming.

I would think pinkel and rhoades should take issue with a player shitting on the people who allow mizzou to have a program in the first place

He said essentially the same thing after the UGA game last year. If he can get booed then he can fire back a bit. Don't have a problem with it.

Meh. That's fine and if he wants to shite on the people that make it possible for him to play then I can say frick him and get him out of here. Time for Lock and a true leader who knows how to carry himself

I think you are overreacting just a tad.

He essentially said he wasn't worried about the booing, and he shouldn't be.

his response "that's why they're in the stands".. is what a 'pro' player might make when the fans boo... he's a long way from being a pro.

Maybe the fans don't think they can do better, maybe they think there is someone on the sideline who can though..

for a guy who was replaced in 2 series including a crucial 4th quarter one, I would think he would be a little more humble.

Pinkel insults the fans by saying Mauk's 14-2, when the fans know the defense is 14-2. So when you go out and give the fans sub par performances time and time again, you're gonna hear about it. No different than any other SEC crowd. Hell, try playing like that at LSU or Bama and see how the fans react.

Am I only imagining that the team seems to like Lock more than Mauk?

I think the chemistry looks better with Lock. The offense looked sharper to me when Lock played.

Does it really matter what Mauk thinks about the "fans"? No not really. But what part of his comment is not accurate? He's a D1 starting QB. Those fans are not.

I don't have an issue with the comment. I think those players realize where they are at and how they are playing.

They sure seem to have a little more pep in their step when he's out there. Crisper routes, better blocking, the run game still sucks, but that's because it's Shitter toting the rock.

Crowd gets more electric too.

Not that that's saying anything, our fans in the stands remind me of Rams fans.

Where's the KC contingent to show them how it's done, I thought they were the best football fans in America?

No you're not. Their energy level goes up a few more notches. Lock also already has better chemistry with the WR's too. Names you don't hear called all game until he's in

Just read Gabe or whoevers article on the QB's. I may have interpreted what Mauk actually said but still pretty douchy remarks.

The article is well worth the read. Not because it sheds some great light but because it really shows the differences between Mauk and Lock as people and leaders. Lock wins again.

I don't know about any of this chemistry BS, but Mauk just refuses to take the high percentage play, and goes for the low percentage big play constantly. His best attribute are his legs and running.

Lock looks very raw to me, but exceptionally talented. I think we might win more games with Mauk this year, but that's debatable. I'm ready for the Lock Era to start sooner rather than later. Maybe the next home game.
