Here's the truth about our offense, we have no one with hands or the ability to make difficult catches.

If we had a Maclin/DX/Washington/Sasser on this team we would be killing it.

Frustrating as hell. I really don't like this offense. At all.

Not all on them. Mauk missed several open guys.

Mauk was awful again tonight. The OL wasn't good either, but Mauk is not going to win us any games. We don't have any playmakers on offense either, but Mauk could have had 5-6 picks tonight if the UK secondary could catch.

The truth is, Mauk throws such ducks that no one, not even the defense, can catch them

You guys can say what you will but Maty played his arse off for 3 quarters...the 4th not so good.

Where the hell was our run D? And middle coverage?

He played hard, sure, but his passing stats were terrible again. 15-30 for 180 yards won't get it done.

I don't get the Mauk love. What has he done to make you think he deserves more time than Lock. I am not trying to start shite or anything but Mauk sucks, like for real. He is not good. He makes absolutely terrible decisions, constantly.

Edit:15-30 for 180 yards and he is showing no signs of improvement as time goes along.

Receivers dropped some passes, they also bailed him out of a couple of terrible interceptions.

If the UK DBs could catch he would have thrown 3 or 4 tonight.

IF Lock makes 1 throw and MM makes 1 throw (assuming the catches are made) we win

No, just no. There are many MANY bad decisions Mauk makes throughout games.

One of many tonight was not taking a first down run and instead overthrowing a ball deep in 2nd quarter. He just does not appear to think about what he is doing out there. If UK was any good on defense Mauk would have had at least 3 INTs

I agree with this but it's not all Maty

Edit: 111 yds rushing ain't going to get it done

It's not mauk love, it's indifference.

He and lock both have their upside and downside, the truth is though he only did not lose us this game.

The receivers are fricking awful. Find any other team that has receivers dropping passes like we do. Not just one week, but each and every week.

How many drops did kentucky have tonight?

Are you telling me kentucky has a better receiving corps than us, and if so how the hell is that possible?

How does kentucky get better receivers/better play out of the receiver position than a spread offense? It's unthinkable.

Mauk is lucky to have had several of his passes dropped, because they went right to kentucky players.

Receivers are far, FAR from being "the problem" with this offense.

Atleast that would be a completion.

Seriously, name any team you have seen that has receivers that drop as many passes in their hands as we do.

I've NEVER seen a group this bad on any team

while Brown has not been perfect he has shown some real ability to catch the rock, Moore's hands are bad, Wingo is a converted DB and looks like it. The WR, OL and RB are all examples of how recruiting over time DOES matter.

Well, Brown was a 4*. Moore was a 3* but had a ton of offers. Leftwich was probably the most lightly recruited, and he's been by far the most consistent.

I'm still bamfoozled by this team.

How are we so bad at WR, RB, OLine, and QB?

TE is the only area we are serviceable. And that's just serviceable.
