It's really not. Still in. Probably dropped off the 8/9 line and gives MPJ more practice time and the rest of the team hopefully more rest.

That stung, like REALLY bad, but we are still in the real tournament and hopefully we'll play better.

Chance we were going to win 4 in a row with our depth issues was a longshot yea, but that game was awful. Barnett and Robertson disappeared, MPJ took way too many shots in the first half, and what the frick were the refs doing. I mean seriously calling fouls on guys fighting through screens? Total garbage of a game.

I hope we get back to the West bracket as the 9 and get kU in the 2nd round, I rather play them than any other 1 seed.

It was bad.

No way around it. MPJ could’ve used the practice.

Now sure why anyone is surprised

CM is known for a solid D and sputtering offense and a record right about where we are now.

MPJ no MPJ

This first year is the norm for CM

Not surprised or complaining.

Or play PG at a reasonably efficient D1 level.

No Mizzou fan is surprised.
We’ve lived through much worse.
It’s very Mizzou.

I'm not surprised at all. I thought there was a very good chance we'd lose.

I don't think you are giving Cuonzo near enough credit though. We have the biggest W turnaround in all of D1 and that's despite...well, you know everything that happened.

Zo is in the pocket here. He's going to do big things.

Hell, we could still make a run this year.

For now Cuonzo has quelled any concerns I have about him as an offensive coach. I wouldn’t let 1 poor shooting game override what you have seen from the team all season.

Just getting off topic for a second, but this guy doesn't even look like the same guy looking by his facial features. I know he is older, but he looks like Karl Malone.

Pretty much all of the other teams on the 8,9 and 10 lines also lost early in their conference tournaments. Mizzou is probably going to stay as an 8.

MPJ showed he needs game reps, not practice.

He took too many shots. Kept flinging after the first few did not fall.

Martin gave him too many minutes. Should have pulled him when MU started faltering, let the regulars get back on track, and then blend him back in.

Robertson should have been given control of the game flow, with MPJ finding opportunities. Kash has earned that. This game felt like the exact opposite happened.

Mizzou was +9 with MPJ on the floor.

MPJ needs more legs. He can get that through practice or game time. It was very obvious he's not in game shape.

He probably did play too many minutes, but not much could be done about that with the foul trouble...unless you wanted more Rau
