Come on guys.... There is absolutely zero chance he stays next year. That would literally be the worst option for him.
He’s still a projected lottery pick. You gotta go get your money.... what if he blows out his knee playing college ball next year? Career over.....

I doubt he’s back, but 2 projected lottery picks last year came back to college

I choose to be extremely pessimistic when it comes to MPJ.
Don’t get me wrong, I’d be absolutely thrilled if he came back. I just don’t see it in the cards for him.

Most guys leave for the NBA to help their family financially, not because of the threat of injury. MPJ has grown up upper middle class, his dad has his own money. Also MPJ knows he can grab that NBA brass ring whenever he wants. He's been trained to play at that level by mom and dad. He may want to play with his brother for "fun" before moving on to the business of basketball. Even Lebron admits he wishes he had.

Jontay recently said he hopes he comes back this season because playing together would have been great. Doesn’t sound like he thinks he will be back next year.

The only way MPJ comes back is if he falls down the draft board. His family may not be struggling financially, but he gone.....
It would be the most ignorant move an amateur could make. I would love it, but it would be beyond stupid on his end.
The NBA is a league you want to get your money as soon as possible. To say injuries don’t play a role in making the decision to go pro is beyond naive. It’s a legitimate concern. If he tears his ACL, his career is likely over. Lol

supposedly his doctors appointment today was a success. This could/prob mean he has been cleared.

He has been cleared for full contact. If the fans stay classy i think that he will be back next year. Staying classy means don't dog him out if he's rusty and you start criticizing him.

He is currently stretching and shooting around. Will he play?

Really was disappointed he wasn't at least in uniform even if he didn't play. Team could really use him.
As long as healthy, a 50% MPJ is better than a 110% CVL.
