...after a great start, has come down to earth a bit. 15 guys went to the UNI open and results were: Two 2nd-place finishes, two 5ths, and two 6ths.
Mizzou dropped from third to tenth in the national rankings, but the season is young.

Good, get that "come to Jesus" tourney out of the way early. We're not used to being a top level program, so there is always going to be the tourney where there are lapses in focus. Now coach has ammo to keep them focused.

This was an Open and the varisty lineup did not seem to be there except Jaques @157. The loss to Va Tech hurt the other day though. had plenty of chances to win that which was a top 10 match up.
