Sure they do help the kids navigate different environments. You’re shorthanding the argument and dancing around it. That’s cool. I’ll let you do it.

40 years ago? Seriously? I can guarantee fricking-t-you not one real “player” looks through his face mask and sees color, he only sees another player.

It's not a gap the needs to be "bridged." People have different experiences which effect attitudes.

If we could just "accept" People where they are, and maybe contribute to positive experiences, these different views wouldn't be so threatening.

For as many people in this country claiming to be Christians, we aren't "our brothers keeper" unless that brother looks, thinks and votes like me.

Sure it is. You just said it was a gap. The rest of the discussion is probably better suited for a board not about Mizzou sports.

If you believe Mizzou is a fundamentally racist institution, then the boycott made sense. If you don’t believe that, it didn’t make sense.

My wife (no pics) asked me “so how’d it go?”…. my response “member in grade school or jr high the kids that got off the little yellow bus?” She nodded yes; “well that’s our defense”

Drink looks to be a good recruiter, but not a very good head coach, when it comes to cleaning up the messes, especially on the coordinator side.

Defensive Coord should be fired after the game was over.

Not only is the defense terrible, but they are extremely ill prepared. The guy has no clue how to teach kids how to play defense, and has no clue how to make an adjustment. You could do a stekel on this clown, and keep running the same play, and he won't make any adjustments or scheme a way to at least sort of stop the bleeding.

NFL coaches have 20+ year olds who have been taught how to play. If you cannot teach, then College football is the last place you should be. Molding players who know the game, is one thing. Actually teaching kids how to perform at a high level, and learn the position takes coaching.

Look on the bright side of things. BC played a very close game against Clemson! BC quarterback fumbled the football on the 15 yard line to give the game away to Clemson with 50 seconds left. The score 19-13. BC wasn't a bad loss! For some reason Tennessee in the last two years spanked Mizzou! Other than that Mizzou were okay against some other teams. Maybe same thing going to happened this year? Might not be all that bad. Kentucky did beat Florida! Mizzou had a close loss to Kentucky! So two close loss to those two weren't bad losses.

Yes I know that but Drinkwitz is still going to better than Odom. He is in his second year and the first year is actually a washup year due to COVID-19. Give him time. Look around all those experienced HCs and they still not that good. Recruiting is going the right way and it is a must to compete and get better at football. There will be growing pains but I believe he is much better than what was out there at that time and still is since no one would come here and not want to do a rebuilt. He is willing to do it and I know he didn't say we are rebuilding. Now we all know we are rebuilding and need time to get the players needed to compete against top teams and in the SEC. Also this will help him get grow as a HC. Odom failed to to be a good HC and a good recruiter after 5 years! Give Drinkwitz a chance! I still believe he is the right coach to turn this football program around. Wait two more years and see what he has done and if it work or not and maybe need an extra year. Look at Kentucky! Stoops took a long time to turn it around. Drinkwitz can do it too!
