I think Coach Anderson may not have as long of a leash with our football team also sucking. That's one thing that's not his fault.

Truth. The AD, and the University, can't afford to have interest in the money-making sports dry up. Way too much money is at stake, not just for the AD. While it's not Anderson's fault, he may pay the price for all the BS of the last few weeks.

Certainly the best shooter.

This is the Missouri basketball we've come to know and love under KA. Same shite show as last year. Have we ever hired 2 new coaches in both revenue sports in the same year?

Attending and this game was ugly top to bottom. Hate blaming officiating, but they sucked bad. Obvious lean to kstate early got in our players heads. But they also couldn't hit layups or free throws. I finally got to see Kim show some emotion on the obvious but not called foul on the Vanleer 3 point shot. Really guys, I'm still sticking to it being a young team. I think the officiating got in their heads early and often.

Are wheelchair leagues known for having a lot of teams with single-digit win totals? I'm not good at math.

Agree. While I'm a bit of a Kimbo defender, unless we see a helluva turnaround, the only way to interest fans next year is to have a new coach to hype.

If this was a HS team full of freshmen, we'd give KA another year or two...but it's D-1 with millions at stake. I think the noose is tightening.

That's what I'm starting to think. ADMR hasn't been slow to make changes in his career. Don't see why he'd change now. Unless KA's team shows marked improvement, and I hope they do... It could be a short tenure.

I will say this. As apathetic as I'm am today, I don't see us slipping back too far. There is too much money at stake. The academic types may be riding high right now, but they have to understand that successful athletic programs are critical to their own successes. It's all about the dolla dolla bills, and let's face it - the academic wonks aren't bringing those in the door.

If we play like this in the league we won't win a game in the SEC. KSU is picked 10th by most in the Big XII. They lost a lot of people from last year.

Yea this is the team I was expecting this year.

Can't score, can't rebound, can't limit turnovers.

Be lucky to win 10 games this year, we'd have to win 3 or 4 league games.

I don't know about that anymore. If this team keeps looking as undisciplined as this, after last year, I'm afraid we've learned all we need to know about KA

frick.

I've been Anderson's biggest defender but tonight pushed me toward the ledge. That was one of the worst performances I've ever seen. Very disappointed in the team and the coaching staff. No excuse for that kind of showing. Also pissed that I spent my time and money to go watch that shite.

One thing I will say though is to echo what Jafo said earlier about the officiating. The refs were giving K-State all of the calls and it definitely rattled and frustrated our freshman and sophomore-laden team. The officiating was piss-poor and consistently in KSU's favor.

I think I'll just pass on watching the game and continue to believe with my blinders. If I don't watch it, that means we're still good right?

Agree. The chaos and panic...beyond belief. Charging around, throwing up so many shots that didn't even touch the rim, missing layups...looked like a drunken 3 on 3, half-court recreation league team.

Our first 3 games gave me a wee bit of hope.

Just a few thoughts on the game last night.

1. Kim must have a sour relationship with one of the refs. The calls weren't BAD per se, but pretty slanted, especially in the first half. Also the Technical in the 2nd was garbage. VanLeer got poked in the eye. Lots of travel calls on us and 0 on them. Definitely slanted.

2. Wouldn't have made a difference. Once Rosburg got 2 fouls, it was over. We have 1 legitimate post player. Gant, Puryear, Allen, are all too skinny or short. Woods is not athletic at all. Rosburg has the size and the technical ability despite his lack of athleticism.

3. We couldn't buy a shot until the 2nd half. Missing lay ups. Wide open shots. Anything and everything, and some weren't even close, as in air balls.

4.Deangelo Allen is the worst player on this team. By far. He is complete garbage. 0 ball skills, no size, no blocking out and rebounding. 0 shooting. Honestly misses more wide open layups than he makes. I don't think it is any coincidence that our best game is the one that he didn't get in at all.

I completely agree with this. I vividly remember a missed put back he had on an offensive rebound. Didn't even touch the rim.

One thing I noticed, I don't know how versed everyone is in basketball, but the guards aren't catching the ball in triple-threat. Every time you receive the ball, you are supposed to at least have a threat to 1.)shoot 2.)dribble/drive 3. pass. Our guards catch the ball around the perimeter and are literally only looking to pass. That's why you always see defenders in the passing lane. If you aren't even threatening to shoot/drive, it makes it that much easier to disrupt the passing lanes. It's frustrating, because it's so fricking simple. That is basic basketball knowledge. You literally learn that in middle school.

You guys need to calm down a little. This is exactly what you get with really young teams; pretty good play 1 minute and shite the next 5. They have to learn HOW to win consistently & bring it every possession at this level; they also have to learn how to take a punch in the mouth and deliver one right back. These guys remind me of an unbroken colt; wild, a little out of control but lots of energy.

My concerns are being confirmed. We don't have enough height/size. Rosburg is the only one who can even hang with these 6'10" post players.

It didn't show against Wofford because they went small, and we did too.

We got murdered on the glass by Xavier and KState when Rosburg gets into foul trouble.

I'm not freaking out, it is just a fact of this roster. Against any teams with size, we will lose if Rosburg gets into foul trouble.

I'm not freaking out. It's literally just an observation I made. Really watch the guards when the receive a pass around the perimeter. It's a simple fix.

I agree that we are heading in the right direction. Well, as long as KA recruits some big men to give us some size in the middle.

We really need to work on shooting. You have to be able to hit the open three to keep the defense honest.
