Yes they do...and confidence we haven't seen for a few years. But I wouldn't have dreamed that we'd see MPJ for only 2 minutes.

Good evening from Mizzou Arena. It’s halftime, and Mizzou looks pretty good even without MPJ. I just spoke with a friend who’s a reporter, and he said MPJ has a bruised hip. Just holding him out for precautionary measures. Only played a couple of minutes. A lot of fans are disappointed, but that’s life.
Tilmon is an animal. If he stays 4 years, he will be the best pure post player we’ve ever had. His arms look 25’ long. His footwork in the post is phenomenal for a freshman. Got 1 silly foul late in the 1st half....he looked gassed. Puryear and Barnett are going to have good years by NOT having to carry the team like last year. By NOT having to be “the man” it frees their game up, when the focus is on other players. Jontay looks smooth and a good interior passer. Defense is good. Offense ain’t bad. Coach seems to be making sure everyone is getting minutes. The older guys and the freshmen look to be blending well together. Everyone seems to be pulling for each other. Chemistry looks good.
Time for some refreshments....that’s my report on the 1st half.
