Out for the remainder of the season.

Crazy injury luck for Cuonzo so far.

I’m fully prepared for him to never play again.

At some point, do we stop assuming it’s luck and look at the training and rehab staff?

The same training staff didn’t have this kind of injury problem at Tennessee or Cal.

The Mizzou rehab staff has a long history of these issues. It’s one of the reasons MPJ opted for surgery over rehab.

Care to elaborate what this long history is?

The story I heard about MPJ was that he wasn’t fully truthful with the training staff, he tried to tough it out.

The Porters didn’t have a good experience with their girls’ rehab was the story I heard. So when Mizzou’s rehab staff suggested rehab over surgery, the family wasn’t very trusting of their evaluation.

Doesn’t each sport have their own rehab staff? The surgeon may be the same, but the trainers usually specialize in a sport.

The New Orleans Pelicans have that problem. Since the same owner also owns the Saints, she has them share the training staff. Their injury problems are way higher than the rest of the NBA.

It would add up as to why Jontay isnt using mizzou for rehab?

I don’t know this for certain. There may be individual PTs who specialize in a particular sport. I would guess that they’re all overseen by the same clinical rehab crew.

I hope he gets healthy. Something was obviously very wrong with his foot.

If he gets fully repaired, I wonder if this means he can get to an even better level than he was this year? That would be great.

What are you trying to say? It is a bit muddy.
