Vegas has Simmons around +10000 in the Heisman odds, around 30th or so among QBs listed. That says decently average to me.
That may be enough. Better than Cook, probably better than anything we've seen since Lock. I can only hope.

One of the few things I enjoy about portal era, start of each season is like Christmas. Never know what you are going to get. Hope it’s not a socks and underwear Christmas.

Me too. In terms of arm talent Riley hasn't had anyone that can throw like Simmons.
