Hope so. Truly expected them to show more last year given the lack of receiving we had in the first place.

I think Martin (if he qualifies) and Johnson will play for sure. Possibly Smith if he can get acclimated quickly enough.

Good lord the weapons Drew Lock will have when he's the QB.

BTW, when Danny Heitert was on the radio last week he noted Mauk's 34% intermediate completion percentage.

Thinks Lock has a real chance to be the starter in 2016 if Mauk doesn't improve his accuracy.

I'm sorry but am I the only one drooling at what our offense will be like in 3 years? I know it's far away, but just think about it.

Stud QB in Lock
Stud WR in Martin, Smith
Stud Slot WR in Johnson
Stud RB in Strong

with solid rotational/2nd stringers at RB & WR

very exciting

And you'll still have Brown and Moore as seniors at WR.

I'm hoping TE Reese helps fill the void.

He certainly has the look of a prototype, receiving TE.

I'm with you on this - our offense may have put up better numbers last year, but our 2007 team with Coffman/Rutgers was truly unstoppable in the red zone. Taking the TE play up a level will help mast inefficiencies at WR.

I look for Blanton to fill the receiving TE roll more than the others. Word is he has best hands on the team.

I agree about Blanton, kid has the makings of a really good TE. I think he was overlooked a bit in that class.

He played at a HS that was super run heavy so didnt have much film showing what he was capable of. On the plus side he should be more advanced as a blocker.

And on the plus plus side, as a TE in Henson's system, you have got to be able to block. I don't know if the likes of Coffman and Rucker would have gotten the same opportunities under Henson.
