I had actually just sat down and saw the news pop

I"m glad Lock is sticking around.... It's a gamble considering BO went with Dooley for OC.

Hopefully BO's GRAND OFFENSIVE VISION.. Turns out better then his vision for defense.

Again, glad we have Lock one more year

Whatever damn system they concoct I hope it takes advantage of what Lock does as well as Albert O and Roundtree.

I just don’t want any attempts at Jeff Fisher bullshite.

Lesson #1 for Lock should be looking the safety off and utilizing a pump fake.

Finally some good news.

Hope he lights it up and goes 1.01 in the 2019 Draft.

BO’s vision for the defense works at other places. BO’s mistake was Cross and Shipp implementing that scheme.

1.Who gives two Fks where it's worked before lol... BO failed to implementing it here. Isn't that what matters?

2. BO is the HC he made the call to change the D... Don't try to dump in on Cross and Shipp.

J’mon was a senior. Invited to the combine.

Good news about Lock, the o line and Crockett and Rountree is that if that combo isn’t amazing as it should be, dooley and odom will be canned. High expectations not to screw up the offense.

That’s not absolving BO. He made the mistake of hiring the wrong assistants, for the scheme.

Cross and Shipp have been good at other jobs. They just weren’t good for what BO asked of them here.

I think he hired who was willing to take the jobs. Sounds like he gets turned down a bit. He was turned down by multiple guys for the OC job this year and I imagine the same thing happens with other spots.

Two years ago I think BO more or less hired who he wanted.

However, I do agree that Dooley looks and sounds like a desperation hire.

How many no's did BO get?? We'll never know

For the OC spot I 100% agree.. From Fisch to Dooley. The question isn't if BO was turned down, rather how many times and from whom?

As far as the other spots. Naaah.. We never go out and get real assistants other the the OL DC DL DC maybe a OC like huep who was an actual QB coach. MIZOU seems content to fill the rest of the spots with the likes of Hill Walters and Ford.... Clipboard holding fillers.

Think this through logically...

I'm offering you at least 900k per year

You will have a loaded offense returning

You get complete
autonomy on offense

My last OC landed probably the best G5 HC job in the country

Dan Werner is turning that down to coach QBs at South Carolina? Fisch is turning that down to remain unemployed?

Come on fellas. Think.

As for not hiring "real" assistants. How are Hargreaves and Davis not "real"? They are both very experienced assistants with deep SEC ties.

"We never go out and get real assistants other then the OL DC DL DC"

Davis is what? OL

Of course Hargreaves is real. I missed adding him.

And Ford Hill and Walters? How many title have these three been handed now? lol

We'll never know the full story as to how we ended up with Dooley.

I'm fine with that.

So you’re saying Odom offered the job to Dooley and not Fisch.

I would guess Fisch turned Mizzou down. Werner probably wasn’t offered the job.
