Been to games in Columbia, STL, KC, Lincoln, Ames and Manhattan. Any others would have been when I was too young to remember.

Job transfer. I still eat and think like I'm from Louisiana. The truth is, I never left.
Up until two years ago I used to make about 10 games a year. As you can see from my travels, I like LSU football.
My tail-gate group is the Krewe of Ragoo.

Seen a game in CoMo versus every team in the Big 8/12 as well as every road game venue from the old Big 8/12. On top of those been to:

@ Arizona St.
@ Troy
@ Ole Miss
KC (vs. kU)
STL (vs. Illinois)
Shreveport for Independence bowl (twice)
Dallas for Cotton Bowl

Last year I went to :
@Florida
@South Carolina

This year I am planning on going to:
@ Vandy
@ UGA
@ Ole Miss

Good topic ozland!

That's awesome. Trying to work out Vandy(wife loves Nashville) and OM(daughter wants to visit). Don't think I can swing the Georgia game.

Either of those trips will not be disappointing, I'm just excited for football season already!

Since I am a National Geographic explorer of sorts, I have scoped out the stadiums in Ames, Iowa City, Lawrence and Manhattan. While I never attended games in these venues, the truth is unless LSU played them there, you couldn't pay me to attend. These are some of the least appealing venues I have ever witnessed.
I am not sure how many games I will attend this year. Probably Ole Miss and Arkansas.

My tailgating specialty: Hot pickled jalapenos
cored out, stuffed with a Hillshire lil smokie, Philadelphia cream cheese and small wedge sharp cheddar cheese, wrapped in thick cut peppered bacon held together with a tooth pick. Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes, broil for 2 minutes to brown and crisp up bacon. Serve hot or cold with an ice cold beer.
I won't tell you what I call them, but everyone loves these.
Warning: They can be a little hard on you afterwards if you eat too many.

If you thought Iowa's stadium was unappealing and wouldn't attend a game there, I'm surprised you went to any of ours. Iowa's stadium is better looking than ours IMO.

The difference is I always liked Missouri. Your campus reminds me a lot of the Georgia campus. Same for your football program.

Faurot isnt the prettiest, nobody is arguing this, but you cant compare Gameday experiences IMO. And especially going into the future, that gap wont be shrinking.

And one reason no one should question the move to the SEC. I know it's been said before but it's no comparison between the likes of Waco, Ames, Lawrence, Manhattan, Stillwater and Lubbock as opposed to the likes of Baton Rouge, Athens, Oxford, Lexington, Nashville, Athens and on and on.

Damn, the season needs to get here fast. And I would happily eat too many and pay the consequences the next day. Just the price of admission as I see it.

Agreed reedus those sound amazing. In fact ozland I Think I will be following that recipe this weekend.

As to your statement about Ames, manhattan and Lawrence, I agree wholeheartedly. I'm just so glad we have such great road trips now as I was one who always enjoyed going to road games and now we have the best in the country

No it wasn't that one. It was early nineties. Nebraska scored the first three times it had the ball and scored twice when Missouri had the ball. It was an ugly game.

Yeah, you saw the ugliest tme of Mizzou football. It would have been better to see one of the Nebraska games of the mid-2000s era.
