I was sure hoping we would.
There's still a few decent qb's in the portal
Hudson Card of Texas. Grayson McCall of CCU to name a couple.
Or we can always grab another Jack Abraham quality qb.

I don’t think a good QB will choose Mizzou because of Horn.
They are transferring for a reason and I don’t think they want to be stuck behind him or the possibility of being benched after a few bad games. If Horn enters the portal in May we might have a chance to get a better QB than Cook.

Leary did get passed up by a true frosh ranked behind Horn, so maybe he did notice that.
Im more worried now, I thought we would have been excellent choices for Mccall or leary with the WR group we have.

I always thought Leary was a pipe dream.
I was hoping McCall was a possibility.
Speaking of McCall. Does he have an issue with credits transferring?

As good as Leary might be hasn't he had injury issues?

We need a high end QB now. Horn will miss Spring ball because of baseball. Mizzou will have 2, 5 star WRs and 4 star talent coming off the bench. We need someone that can get them the ball.
I wanted Leary for this reason. Who else is out there. Any ideas?

I guess maybe Sanders from Okie State. I've seen him play. He's a gamer. JT Daniels looked horrible at WV, the A&M qb will cause Horn to leave. Guess it's gonna be the guy from Pitt.

Nobody is coming to Mizzou to sit behind Horn.
And with another summer (spring out for baseball) of practice, Horn will beat out Cook for QB1.
With Jabarri waiting to start in 2025 when Horn goes to NFL or MLB.

If Drinkwitz wants to take a QB Brennan Armstrong might be the best option. He was a 3 year starter at UVA. In 2021 he threw 31 TD’s with over 4,400 yards passing and ran for 9 TD’s. He didn’t mesh with UVA’s new coach last year and had a down year. He is a Pinkel type of QB. He is probably headed to a Big 10 School though

To much stress on his pitching arm. He will come to some of the practice’s, but he probably won’t be throwing much.
