Knox said Mizzou is a possibility. Said MPJ has been recruiting him hard.

Martin was in ESL Today.

Cuonzo can't recruit Tilmon. He has signed a LOI to Illinois. There is a sophomore at ESTL Hargraves that's a SEC caliber player.
CMs sister is also the assistant principal there.

I don't know that Tilmon is necessarily dead yet, but Zo isn't there recruiting him.

I think Knox is an extremely long shot. The only hope there is Porter shows well and that in turn convinces Knox to at least pay Mizzou a visit and give Martin a chance for a pitch.

Tilmon, is an even longer shot. Not only because he's signed, but he's also affirmed his choice in staying with the Illini.

It's why the timing of Baker asking out of his commitement has me thinking he will be a strong Mizzou lean if they release him. There may be other recruits in the mix we know nothing about right now too.

Yep. And now he's moving here for good, which should help for mizzou.

He's looking at Webster Groves too

Alex Lomax is the 1st player that Martin has offered since he's been at the Zou.

WG won state by 35 and returns Gordon and Ramey. That would be a nasty high school team

I know that a St. Louis media outlet said he's staying, but there's been nothing from Tilmon at all, and I mean nothing, which is odd. You'd think after his meeting with his new coach he'd help him out at least a littl by saying something. We've heard that MPJ has been hitting him hard. Why do that if he's signed a NLI and has already made up his mind? Oh, and 247 still shows him at 67% Mizzou, which is an interesting number for a kid already committed and reaffirmed.

He's likely still Illini, but there seems to be just a little too much smoke to completely dismiss it.

Yeh that's why I said a long shot. There is still a chance but the LoI makes it an uphill fight for Cuonzo. He can have no contact. Hard to recruit when you can't make your pitch. Also that info about him affirming came from the Illini Rivals beat guy as I think he got that info from either Tilmon or a coach. They jumped on him as soon as Cuonzo became our coach. Again, yeah there is still a chance, but it's a slim one.
