I feel like he's got to show some improvement this year. Otherwise I'll have seen enough and will be ready to move on.
I don't think he can blame another last place finish in the SEC on Haith.

I'm not a BB fan. And I don't know the answer to what I'm about to ask....but, are there any players in COMO that could even make the squad at any other SEC school?
Could Pitino take that bunch and turn them into a respectable team?

Most SEC schools would take Phillips, Geist, Barnett, Puryear, Woods, Walton. After a couple years of development most would take Nikko and Smith as well.
The problem is that only Puryear and Barnett could potentially start. This roster is full of role players.

CVL only played 5 or so minutes.
Partially coincidentally, LSU out scored us by about 8 while he was in.

Geist, Walton and Barnett
They played Barnett at the 3 and that was the best single half performance by a Missouri player I've seen in the first half this year by him.
He disappeared in the second half.

Barnett and Puryear are legit players. Phillips can be at times. The rest are bit players on a good team, if they are even that.

Puryear and Barnett would start for less than half the sec teams. Not sure I'm sold on Geist. Maybe as a guy on the bench.

Geist is one of those surprise walkons that surprise you with an ability to produce a few minutes if your starting PG was injured and you need to spell your backup.
He's slow, has a bad shot and questionable handles. He is feisty, a stabilizer and can score some garbage buckets. He shouldn't be getting 15 minutes a game on a legit team. Let alone starting.
