christ, if we would have stopped taking fricking threes we would've won the game by ten.

We would've lost by ten. We shot better from three than from 2.

16-34. 47% from 3 pt land. Amazing.

What's also amazing is we had to do that to beat the 11 seed in the SEC in overtime.

In the end, Kim's biggest failure may have been simply not knowing how to motivate his players and encourage them to success.

Obviously we don't have the horses to be a 20 win team. But we certainly are more talented than 8 wins. And maybe 15 wins.

He could have gotten fired mid-season and motivated that way

The nice guy thing. He probably wasn't enough of a hardass to get them to improve soon enough. But they are improving, although they still have games where they stink. I still think he would have got this team to 20 wins, but not for 2 or 3 more years depending on how the recruiting went. But once he got them there I think we would have stayed there, and for the most part only have gotten better.

Now maybe we will get a hardass, and he will get that same 2-3 years, and we should be back in the tourney by then.

But we definitely lost something.

Heres how I look at it. If we get any of the T5 coaches we want, that will be the exact reason as to why we didnt fire a coach mid-season.
