There have been flights to strange airports, dummy flights, radio silence, disinformation, etc. The flight from Philly was likely strategically leaked as a confirmation of remaining moles.
Alden has learned a ton from the past, especially the Painter stuff. He's not going to be burned again. The SEC stuff all but outed his moles. He knows who they all are.
It's cloak and dagger for a reason, it's still fluid at this point. I just know for sure it's not Anderson.

Ok I think I've figured this one out. The phrase 'dancing bananas' is some kind of code related to the new coach. He is inbound, i.e., on his way. But we've all been led astray-we should be looking in a different place.
What bananas are there out there as potential candidates?

Maybe someone with a geographical link to Chiquita Bananas? Headquarted in Chalotte N.C. The old commercials featured a banana lady dancing. Hence, the use of the phrase 'dancing bananas'. The name that immediately comes to mind here is Steve Clifford, coach of the Chalotte Bobcats, currently still alive in the NBA playoffs this year. Probably will be eliminated tonight....hmmm, curious timing there.
So there are your two top candidates for the job-Frank Martin and Steve Clifford. But there may be another dark house candidate-a real wildcard, mystery candidate.
Perhaps the dancing bananas refers to Banana Republic, renown for their women's handbags and purses. They also sell a lot of women's shoes. The next men's head basketball coach at MU may be none other than...a woman. Or maybe a gay man. But I'm betting on a woman, since we already did the gay support thing.
Anyone know if Semo has any Banana Republic purses, handbags-or high heal shoes? Those are dancer's legs if I ever saw 'em.

We very well may have, I know mine isn't directly related, but he's well respected, and has a couple of "lock" resources at his disposal.
The funny thing is, when the rumors of SEC were swirling, he wouldn't talk. I got a text about 2 hours before the announcement that said, "SEC". It was kind of a given at that point.
I did know about DGB before hand, but I wasn't an Internet guy at that time.
I will say this, and it's absolutely coincidence, but I've be been in OKC for SEC, DGB, and now this. If we ever get to a title game, I'm flying to OKC to watch it.

I'd really be alright with either Howland or Marshall. This whole cloak and dagger thing is certainly a nice surprise. Even if we end up with Anderson at least our business and name hasn't been smeared all over the place by the media
