I don't think Thomas is overrated at all, but he wasn't a must sign.

JJ IS what we would hope Thomas would be and he's here for 3 more years. Wingo and Floyd behind him. Jafar Armstrong is one of the best WR to ever come out of Kansas and he likely projects as a slot.

So at that spot, no one would be a must get.

I'm not saying he's overrated per se.

Just not worth the trouble.

Any kid coming out of East St. Louis should try and get as far away as possible. It is the most dangerous place to live in America and if my kid had the talent I would want him to get as far away as possible.

Columbia and Champaign are both to close. I hate to lose the talent out of ESL, but I understand the reason for getting far away from that hell hole.

He may be overrated, but living in a place like that I understand why he maybe acting like a diva.

The route running comment is based off what he was graded in the rivals summer camp

Ever heard of a top recruit from North St. Louis?

No? Didn't think so.

ESL is bad but it's not NSL.

You must have never been recruited by college coaches. Trust me it is a process that makes you feel great it made me cocky and I don't even have close to the talent Thomas has.

Everyone around me my parents, friends, high school coach, and legion coach tried to help me make the right choice. I didn't listen to any of them and chose a college I thought was right. I listen to a coach/recruiter because we both liked to fish and that is what we talked about the most. We talked about fishing more than we did baseball.

The choice I made a was terrible, but the feeling you get from being recruited is intoxicating.

Worked in Cahokia, IL for 4 days. The entire area around ESL is a terrible place. I feel sorry for the people that live there.

If I was a kid I would get as far away as possible. If I was his parents I would feel the same.

Running routes in a t-shirt, shorts, no contact, with a QB facing no pressure (no route adjustment to pressure, no zone break down) gives a considerable advantage to the WR.

What in the actual frick?

I've come across some shite online, but this is on a level rarely seen.

Like where did this come from? It has no relevance or place in this thread.

There's nothing in this thread that should have triggered that response.

nukey, give it up man.

Jeff Thomas is one of the best WR prospects in the country because he's gifted with supreme abilities. He's got unique smoothness to his movements and explosion to go with it. Watching Amari Cooper you could see the smoothness and balanced coordination. There is a lot of that when you watch everything coordinate in JT's movements.

It's absurd to tell us he's just one of many 5'10 pass catcher who can be found with relative ease.

I'm on board with the fact that we don't NEED him, it's not a must get, but the shite you're spewing here is hurting your football e-cred. Tap out. You're making this worse for yourself.

Wouldn't all WR's at the event have the same advantage then?

The events that he's stood out at.

Tap out, big fella.
