Agreed - He is transferring back to Tolton (in CoMO) for the second semester; looking forward to seeing him light it up for them.
...But, of course, football success is not everything.

Is this what we've (d)evolved to? Performance is secondary to everyone "feeling comfortable"?

Agreed. Consider that Garcia is from the same recruiting class as Tyler Macon. Garcia was #8 on 247/ Macon #34. This provides nice balance for the scholarship chart as it relates to the QB position.
DeWitt and his partners had nothing to do with the Busch Stadium improvements done prior to the 1996 season. That project was well underway before Anheuser-Busch announced their intentions to sell.
Any possibility Terrell is trying to peddle his services as an "assistant coach" to prospective schools?

Rolla advised him to go to Columbia for engineering.
I'll call your bluff on that...

Wow! I have to admit I dislike Oklahoma just a little less today than I did yesterday...just a little.
Add a School?

Can I get Missouri S&T added as a "Favorite Team". While a MIZZOU fan, my alma mater is technically my #1.
Thanks. So this goes back to Cuonzo not wasting his talents at uofi?

Okay. Just got finished perusing the illinoisloyalty board. Can someone enlighten me regarding the amount of hatred directed at Cuonzo? Is there history between uofi and CCM, or are they that upset that he's poised to take MIZZOU to a higher level?
Those guys/ gals seem more obsessed with what MU is doing than they are with what their big ten rivals are doing.

In the 2nd generation of handed down Black Forest dialect spoken in my house in the 70's, it was Guten Hund! Then again I was called a dumme gans more than once by aunts and uncles, so maybe I misunderstood!

I'm not displeased with you.
Posters have a difference of opinion on Jeff Thomas. I don't see either side agreeing with the other side's opinion.
It seems like the topic is getting a thorough beat down...hence the "beating a dead horse" reference.
I could have posted as a reply to you or any others in the thread, don't take it personal.

No alter; I rarely post. I'm only upset with myself for repeatedly clicking on this link thinking someone might actually provide a new or unique perspective on the topic.

kills, I know you like to stir the pot. Perhaps this was just another one of those efforts. But, your statements are incorrect, no matter how you look at it.
Of the 28 teams I looked up records for (27 teams with 3 or more titles plus Monroe City):
27 teams have won more state titles than Monroe City's 2. Leaders in that category:
1. Valle Catholic - 14 titles
2. Webb City - 13 titles
3. Jefferson City - 10 titles
4. John Burroughs - 9 titles
4. Rockhurst - 9 titles
17 teams have more playoff wins than Monroe City's 33.
Leaders in that category:
1. Webb City - 86 wins
2. Valle Catholic - 79 wins
3. John Burroughs - 69 wins
4. Jefferson City - 68 wins
5. Rockhurst - 66 wins
20 teams had a better playoff winning percentage than Monroe City's 61%.
Leaders in that category:
1. Valle Catholic - 92%
2. Webb City - 86%
3. Lamar - 85%
4. John Burrough's - 85%
5. Penney - 81%
For teams that have competed (and won) in Class 1 and Class 2, both Penney and Valle Catholic dwarf Monroe City's credentials.

Soooo...we residents of Boone County have some sort of obligation to support MIZZOU athletics?
