Our fan base is funny and pathetic sometimes.

Franklin was a pussy for not playing injured.

He plays hurt, and it definitely shows, and he is the worst QB in recorded history.

Later folks, have a good day.

To me, it has nothing to do with him not playing injured, being a pussy, etc... it's the fact that he can't throw the damn ball to save his life.

It's that he's mentally drained. He got hurt in spring practice, was said he'd be 100% for the season, worked for it, and wasn't. Starts getting back, gets hurt again, says he doesn't want to take a needle, says he's afraid of getting hit. It's one thing after another.

I seriously think he's drained. Coming out, playing hurt and throwing interceptions all over the place is doing nothing good for his mental state as it is.

It seems like he's lost his competitive edge to me, but I'm just a guy watching on TV.

You can tell he's hurt. I had no idea that shite affects your throwing since you have to plant your leg a certain way, the announcers said that.

His timing is off and he inst planting to throw on that bum knee. He also wa snot really allowed to run like normal to have that threat be more prominent for the Florida D.

Im not making excuses, it was a bad performance but if we need to be fair about the assement then lets be fair about it. Coming of more injuries and still not healthy things could have been a lot worse playing on the road @ #7 Florida.

The whole season has been wrecked by injuries and it sucks bad.

Yup no dept at RB. I watched Josey last season, that dude was a beast. I can remember on CBS sports the black dude would call him "Outlaw Josey Wales" because he was that good. Got a nickname.

Yea, Josey was the bomb.

I think Mizzou will be good next year. We just never recovered from early injuries and for college teams nothing can ruin a season quicker than having a drawn out injury scenario with your QB1.

What a sad state we're in: debating which of our QBs doesn't screw us over quite as much.

Good call. Might as well watch some football and drink some dollar beers at the sports book.

Good luck with the students coming back from their watch party, Mizzou SECr friends.

The worst part about all of this is we might have our best defense in a long, long time but it coincides with our worst offense since Pinkel arrived.

as opposed to 2007 where we had one of the best offenses we've ever had and a crap defense.

Can we send this D back to 2007 or vice versa?

Franklin flat out is not good. What is depressing is knowing that his back up sucks worse. I swear, if Mauk or someone can't beat Franklin out for the spot next year, I don't know if I can handle watching a game. This year is shot so I'm not advocating burning a red shirt. I'm not suggesting starting Berk. We're stuck with what we have but man what we have sucks.

Defense played well today. Richardson is just a beast. He's definitely gone after this year. I think his play and what he does at the combines will solidify him as a first rounder. I say the rest of the year we line him up in the wildcat and sit both Franklin and Berk.

I just hope this loss doesn't carry over to next week. Tennessee looks VERY winnable.

One more thing, DGB is starting to become the guy we expected him to be. He's playing with more confidence and it shows.

He was our best playmaker today.

Today just proved franklin is done. Time to get Berk the experience he needs. Then let everyone compete in spring ball when everyone is healthy.

This was the single worst QB performance in the gary pinkel era. This game was taylor made for Berk because he can hit the slants vs man. Franklin can only make the soft toss completion.
