Honestly, I can’t be 100% positive that firing Odom is the correct move but the fanbase has completely abandoned him. There just isn’t any way back from this.

It’s over and you might as well do it now.

No he deserves more time. The fanbase is just terrible, so shouldn't be a contributing factor.

Odom is not the one afraid to throw the ball and not the one committing all the pass interferences on third down. If he wins next week, which i think he will, he’ll be back and with a better QB. Any of them would be better.

Yes, the fanbase is terrible. No doubt. I don’t know why this is a continued topic with you. It’s undeniable, concrete fact.

That being said, even the contributing fans this program has have abandoned ship.

Leaving the stadium tonight it was obvious all energy had completely drained.

It’s just done. Whether it’s Odom or not, it is what it is. Really no coming back from this point

But if you are the AD. Do you really believe the fanbase will come back if BO comes back? The AD has to be concered about revenue.

If we can get Kiffin just when we are about to develop a new QB that would be ideal.

Yes, I absolutely did. When you completely lose the fanbase how do you recover from that? I don’t see a way

Do hire the coach that will make the fans happy next season. Hire the guy that can build a winning program.

Kiffin isn't coming to Missouri.

He would be a terrible hire

Only way to sell tickets next year, with such a crappy home schedule, is a new coach. Looking like the late 80's and early 90's when 36,000 was the regular crowd.

So actually the fanbase is a continuing topic with you, not with me.

He has coached at two programs with a recruiting advantage Missouri doesnt have and did nothing. What he is doing in Boca is meaningless.

Also he will jump ship when a better gig comes along. Also left some programs without warning.

Odom's secondary is terrible. Exposed against the first team that actually threw the ball all year.

Not only that but we've had ZERO pass rush for 4 years.

Actually he did a good job the year he was at Tennessee and they were all very upset to see him go.

He took a USC job that was under sanctions. He failed, but under sanctions.

He’d bring a energy and attention that we are going to need. He’d recruit

But UT has big problems that has vexed 4 coaches since Fulmer was fired.

FAU seems to have taught him to be a coach instead of a distraction. I like his offensive schemes at Bama. He didnt get lazy and just depend on their talent.

With Kiffin we get a coach with offensive plans that exploit the defense, more exposure because his name is a brand. Recruiting I have to believe has a chance to be better, and a name that fans and boosters recognize.
