This is all happening because the offense is boring.

Yes I have daughters, and I have sons. whenever I read this kind of stuff, I think "Would I have taught my girls to tell the guy to Back Off," and "Do I teach my sons to Back Off if told." Of course guys can be "creepy." God made us with 1 thing on our mind, but some young men don't have the "skills" or experience with women. But women have to speak up. "No" needs to mean frick off", not "don't move so fast, and don't ignore me for my friend."

I'm all for speaking out, and there is no excuse at all for violence toward women, either sexual or physical. But recently I'm reading women speaking out about young men being bad dates or saying the wrong things. To me that falls under the category of "Tell him to frick Off, and don't deal with him again." Not sexual assault.

He can now come here were I am and get a job in the Hollywood industry or Fox News if this is true. If this is true he is a sick individual by pretending to be this great guy.

So Mike Dixon 2.0?

Neither link is evidence especially the Twitter link. Not saying he isn't a dirtbag but evidence should convict him and not the feels.

Eh. I don’t feel bad for Mike. Cases like his are why we got the Title IX abomination in the first place.

I don't feel bad for him either and if TP is MD 2.0, then good riddance to him as well.

Wait. Just so I understand her social media account. She is upset because they didn't have sex?

Someone enlighten me. I feel like I'm missing something. If TP assaulted a girl, I'd be the first to ride him out of town. Hell, I'll be the first to do so because of his play on the court.

But I had to go back and re-read her Twitter posts. She says, they started as friends, he said nice things and tried to take it to the next level. She said no and he acted like a child. No where does he say he assaulted her. Sounds like he said "Nice arse." and she felt objectified. Is that really enough to cost a guy a college career?

She then goes on to allege he had what I take her statement to say as consensual sex with women and recorded with OR without their knowledge. She admits that she doesn't even know if it was consensual or not. THE FILMING that is.

I have mixed emotions about the filming without consent. 30 years ago I used to joke about filming every sexual encounter so I wouldn't have some gal claiming it was anything other than what it was. Having said that, the way videos are posted for all to see on a whim these days is unlike it was 30 years ago. That I would have a problem with.

So fill me in on what I'm missing because it sounds to me like she just got upset when she found out that she was just a piece of arse to TP and when she said no, he had no interest in just being friends.

Technically, the twitter link is evidence and could be used in a trial. Whether or not it's convincing evidence or credible is a different story.

No, but that wasn’t the complaint. It’s also not limited to a single woman.

What is the complaint? I honestly am not seeing it. At least not from her twitter feed.

Is the anonymous complainant in the article supposedly the same one as the twitter account?

Also no. The tribune has a good article with more details.

saying her complaint against Phillips involves multiple allegations of physical abuse.

I see that in the article but then the closest she comes to "physical abuse" on her Twitter is sitting next to her in class. While a dick move, hardly sexual assault.
