While I can't stand watching him play football, the team has a better chance to win with Mauk right now.

I agree. That's not because he's a better QB. It's because he can make plays with his feet and our offense is absolute utter and complete shite, front to back.

ONLY because he can scramble to create a running game.

I like the progress the OLine made in pass protection in this game.

It might just be Vandy, but Lock had time to make throws and some of the WRs were getting separation. Lock just needs to dial in on the accuracy.

Mauk's accuracy was the radius of a hula hoop. Lock's is about a garbage can lid right now.

Doesn't matter IMO I don't see Mizzou winning another game this year. The offense is just too awful at every position.

I think most realized that, even before all the Mauk stuff came out. I, for one, didn't care. We weren't doing anything with Mauk so give Lock the experience. This experience will pay dividends in the long run. Assuming he has the mental makeup to not let this season define him. And I think he does have that makeup.

I disagree. I don't think this offense was doing much better when Mauk was starting at the beginning of the season.

I will say this, unless it's already happened, GP needs to sit Henson down and give him the ultimatum. Either right the ship, or we'll get someone who can. These are SEC caliber players. They don't seem to be physically deficient, meaning strength, talent, size and speed are there. So what is missing? They look lost a majority of times on offense. To me it boils down to coaching. Not being able to handle D-line stunts for example. Inexcusable at this level of play. The shear stubbornness not to change some things up. It's like watching someone use the same knife to carve a turkey as you would peel an apple. It's extremely easy for opposing DC's to game plan against Mizzou.
