I want everyone to remember this Killz prediction...

If Anderson's team vastly improves next year and with it the "Fire Kim Anderson" hysteria subsides, I believe that Kim Anderson will coach both the worst and best team in Mizzou basketball history.
What that means is that Anderson will take us to our first Final Four at some point during his tenure at Mizzou.

I don't think a vast majority have been saying fire him now. Most are upset with the way the team has played and the lack of apparent progress. Some question if it was the right hire and I see nothing wrong with that at this point. The AD and coach should be held accountable. If he turns things around, I'm sure he'll get his praise. But when things are crap, they're going to be called crap.

I've mentioned before...does anyone but me remember when Coach Smith took over our wrestling? He got rid of nearly everyone and was so bad that D-II schools were wiping the mat with our guys. I asked him what was going on by getting rid of everyone. "They didn't want to buy into the program," he replied. The team was dog shite horrible for the first couple years.

As much as I hate to say it I doubt KA ever gets us to the final four of the SEC Tournament. KA is not going to be the coach that gets us to a Final Four. He just isn't that good of a coach.

Don't worry. I'm right. But remember, this is contingent upon the AD giving him 3 years and his teams improving during that time. If the teams show improvement next year and we keep him for that 3rd year, at some point he'll get us to a Final Four during his tenure.

If KA isn't fired and IF his teams get better every single year then eventually they will make a FF so predicts killz.

If nobody transfers after this year and we can find an inside presence, I think we could have a shot at winning 20 games next year. We'd obviously need the Freshmen to take a step forward, but this team has a ton of potential.

Hopefully the new AD won't fire him after 1 year. That would be incredibly unprofessional and unwise, especially considering that we've hit rock bottom this season and can only improve.
I mean, it's incredibly unlikely that we'll be this bad again.

It would make a head coaching position look way less attractive if a prospective coach knows he could be on the chopping block a year after he's hired. It would also be terrible for recruiting. Nothing screams instability like hiring three new head coaches in 5 years.
