Anyone going?

I don't think I've had this much anticipation for a season since maybe Chievous or Smith. May even go back to Stipo days.

So what are some predictions for this game against ISU?

I'm trying to temper my excitement/emotions and will say Mizzou 68 ISU 62, though game won't really be that close.

It’s on the Friday before the Tenner game. Hopefully some people stick around and go to the game on Saturday.

I think we win by double digits.

Can't really make a prediction. Don't really know what we will do and I don't know much about Iowa St.

I just hope for a full, loud gym and a W.

I’m going to both games. I think Mizzou beats Ia St. 75-65....and we beat the Vols 45-10 on Saturday night. (I wish this weeks game was an early start instead of a night game)

I would guess that the score is higher. Winner scores in the 80’s. Both teams play fast.

ISU is also in total rebuild, Mizzou wins 82-74.

I hear ya. I know ISU lost like everyone. I think the top returning scorer as like 5th on the team and well under 10 ppg. Of course, that is kind of meaningless depending on they brought in and what was waiting in the wings.

I think we'll definitely get that.

I'll take that. Would make for a helluva weekend. Enjoy the games.

Wouldn't surprise me. I was just anticipating some first game jitters/rust.

Mizzou played another scrimmage game this past weekend against Missouri St. and won by 20 points, but they won't tell us anything about the game.

The players have said that they need to work more on their shooting and interior offense.

Does Iowa State still run the Hoiberg Motion or was that scrapped with the new coach a few years ago?

Enjoy it man. Should be a blast. Would love to hear about the atmosphere in the Arena with interest peaked again.

I've seen anywhere from a 3.5-4.5 point favorite tomorrow night

I really think we’ll win by 10-15 points. Ia. St. Is picked to finish last in the Big 12 this year. With a sold out arena, our Tigers should be really pumped for this game. The Cyclones have a pretty small lineup too. Their 3&4 guys are like 6’5....6’6. I think our bigs (MPJ in particular) have the potential to have really big nights. But, I’m sure we will have enough 1st game mistakes to keep the ‘Clones in the game most of the way.

Harris and Jontay looked good.

MPJ is already the MVP. Let's enjoy our year with him.

I thought that Roberts the left out guy looked pretty good. I think that Mizzou interior defense will struggle against talented teams this year. They have no defensive minded players there.
