Put a thread on the Off Topic, but figured I'd ask here too. Police are saying the number is up to 20 cars shot at on highways in Kansas City. Thankfully no one killed. Some injured. Sounds like one lucky 2 year old who was just dropped off before a bullet ripped through the door where she had been sitting. Sick fricks. Is this a big deal in KC? People concerned about it? I'd assume so. Regardless, stay safe all my KC brethren.

Wow. That's pretty crazy. Seems like at the point of 20 shootings there would be a large man hunt to capture whoever is doing this. One shot could not only injure those in the car but also cause a huge collision.

There are chimps escaped from the zoo also. Coincidence? I think they are upping their game from slinging shite at people...

In the past month we've had shootings at the zoo, freeway shootings, and escaped chimpanzees. There's something in the water...

Yeah weird stuff. I conceal and carry and I am keeping that thing more ready than normal. I don't get how this isn't more urgent to the local authorities.

That's what has surprised me. I was a little surprised with that number that it isn't getting more media attention too. Thankfully no one has been killed but how much of that is dumb luck and are people just going to wait until they start hitting people in the car?

I read one article where the guy was shot in the leg. What if it had been a head shot? That would have caused obviously his death, death of any passengers and a major accident with possibly more fatalities.

What is weird is that it appears like they are trying to keep it low key. I mean we don't hear anything public about this until there are 20 some odd people who have been shot at? WTF?

Are most of the shootings all concentrated in one place or is it pretty much scattered all around?

Seems to be that most are around "The Triangle" area of KC. So around 470/435 area- according to the KC Star.
