I love watching the tenner coaching search every few years. They will never be a blue blood again. Forced to hire a 6 game winner from a non power five conference. Their defense will be awful, as we remember, because he doesn’t slow the offense down enough to let the defense get a rest. I love this hire...for us.

They got us good with the Dooley hire so we give them Heupel.

I look forward to playing that shitty offensive style for years to come.

He was dead man walking at UCF. Looks like he is doing his AD friend a favor and getting his big payout before heading back to being an OC.

Based on his time at MU, I'm thinking this will get ugly fast. There will not be as many bad defenses to put up big numbers on. And whoever is still there at UT when all the transfers are done leaving will be built for a running offense, not Heupel's all deep shots all the time offense.

I think heupel is just jumping on the grenade for money. He gets the NCAA punishments, will get fired and then UT can try and make another splash hire.

He has nothing to lose. He was sliding at UCF. And the first 3 to 4 years of struggle with be blamed on sanctions.
