Every AD keeps a list of people to call for every team under their charge and it is updated regularly.

Odom goes 6-6 with this roster he should be fired.

2-6 in the SEC with Vanderbilt, Tennessee, and Arkansas on the schedule?

That means Odom peaked last year at 7 wins.

Dream on! Barry will not go 6-6 he should win 7 or 8 games. Got to tell you Barry is not going to throw in the towel and get himself fired. Sorry Bye Bye to you!

I am ashamed to see the poor attitude that people still do not feel Barry Odom can get 7 wins or more. Most just do not see who will be a good replacement if he is fired and not given a chance to build the program the way he wants run it. There were some really good head coach they went to a tougher conference and are failing big time that was successful at a lower conference. Some may succeed. If Missouri do fire him for going 7-5. Then that is crazy and no one really good will want to go to Missouri. I do not see Missouri going 6-6 or worst.

If you take the thing for the beginningn then you knows that he be there for stay long time. If you don’t be fan then when we win you want be fan again and we will gratuitously let you come back on to be fan for team. What you not consider now is that being or not being fan is not considerous of what Barry O[dom can do as for coach. He is building great for us things. You will be seeing it.

Serious question, is it fair to compare Pinkel's first three years to Barry's?

Pinkel: 17-19

Odom: 14–17

Pinkel took over a worse situation, but not by a lot. He also had 10 years as the HC at Toledo.

I think BO will be a good P5 head coach, but he’s not there yet.

Pinkel also won 8 games his 3rd season quelling the tide.

And Pinkel turned around and won 5 in year 4. Most of this board wanted him fired a few times during his time at Mizzou.

You justify 5 wins after 8 wins.

I don't know if you can justify 4-8, 7-5, 7-5, 5-7

That's just mediocre across the board, especially with the schedule this year and next year.

The 14 and 15 recruiting classes is why I’m willing to be more lenient with BO.

And really the 13 class wasn’t much better. I’m ok with some mediocre years as long as I think it’s leading to something better. QB, DT and LB are the only position groups that aren’t getting a majority of snaps from players that will be here at least 2 more seasons after this season. DT has 2 sophomores that are getting significant snaps.

I mean you can blame Pinkel for those classes, but you also have to give him credit for the upperclassman that are starters including 2 WRs when healthy, 2 LBs, 2 OL, TE, DT, and a QB.

Barry didn't help this situation in 2017 when he basically struck out on WRs. I would disagree with Gabe on that position. The reason we're having issue at WR right now is because of the 2017 class. You have 2 starters in Brown and Hall, 2 more from the 2016 class in Floyd and JJ, but after that?

Barry struck out hard in 2017 and that has to be looked at just as closely as Pinkel's misses in 14 and 15.

The blame goes all around Pinkel, Odom and to the players that either got kicked off the team or didn’t develop.

The top of the 15 class is about as good as you would hope for. Hall, Lock, Beckner, Hall and Fatony are all difference makers at their positions. It’s the next level of players that’s the problem. There’s not enough players like Brown, Adams, Pendleton and Lee. That’s especially true at DE and DB.

I'll agree with that.

Problem is the biggest position, QB, has no heir apparent, which ultimately will be Barry's job.

Furthermore, what has Barry done as far as recruiting anyone? Exactly.
