I saw Gooden's numbers and he was impressive at the combine. 4.47 40 27 bench presses but I did not see Richardson's. How did he do??

Is Kendall Lawrence projected to be drafted? I always thought he was an underrated player with good speed.

Missing Gooden and Richardson next year is going to be a problem. Why, oh why, couldn't we have had a decent offense this year...

Its a shame that some losers like T'eo gets all this publicity and a guy like Gooden is twice the player and gets none.. this kind of thing happens too often, media latches onto some and completely ignore others.

It was a great showing for all except TJ's 40 time.
I think someone will snag him in the late rounds anyway.

Go Tigers!

I really hope he gets drafted and gets an opportunity. I just don't see it happening though, which might be best for him. Then he's got more options to go make a team as an undrafted free agent.

Since TJ knocked all of the other drills out of the park, he will get a chance with someone.

Moe got too bulky at MU; he's too heavy, imo.

He really should have gone a different route with developing his body.

Guys like Wes Welker and Danny Amendola are under 190. TJ is way to bulky up top, he's carrying too much weight. Bad move by the meatwagon Pat Ivey, again just imo.

At least now he'll be in better position to make tackles on a special teams unit, because that is about all he should look forward too... he'll have to get pretty lucky and find a coach that really wants to give him a chance in an offense. Was really exposed this year in the SEC, almost a non factor (I guess no QB didn't help).

I think I've heard this before. I thought they were supposed to be approaching things differently now. Didn't Spoon or someone in his day have the same issue?

I am from St. Louis and not a homer when it comes to drafting, But I can very easily see Big Sheldon at 16 overall, Gooden in the 4th round, and TJ in the 7th or as a street free agent

Smith to Chiefs looks like a done deal.

Is Sheldon now the #1 pick????

Would be great if Sheldon did go number 1...but doubtful. Top 15 for sure IMO. Also, Gooden could very easily sneak into the 1st round...possibly into the top 15 or so. He had one HECK of a combine:

Among LB:
1st - 40 yard dash (4.47 s)
T-4th - Bench Press (27 reps)
6th - Vertical Jump (34")
2nd - Broad Jump (10'11")
1st - 3 Cone Drill (6.71 s)
1st - 20 Yard Shuttle (4.18 s)
1st - 60 Yard Shuttle (11.28 s)

Hope he continues to impress. It would do wonders for defensive recruiting to have 2 guys go in the 1st round...especially if one of them can somehow fight his way up to be the #1 pick.
