It was a good plan: move the ball, don't take a lot of risks, and let your great defense throttle their offense.

Fancy isn't always fantastic when it comes to results on the field. This was a good win against a team that has been playing well.

OL much better today. In the Georgia game and today, Mizzou seemed to regularly supplement 2 blockers with the line. That seems to correct their missed blocking assignments.

This is the kinda team that was perfect for the OL and Cook to play against. SC plays 4-2-5 defense and use dogs(hybrid safety/OLB) instead of a star like Mizzou. They may have a 1st round DB, but their slower dogs and safeties can’t defend are quick and talented slot players.

Short and quick passes is something that Cook can do and the OL doesn’t have to hold their blocks long. SC doesn’t have the speed or athletes’s to play against a team like Mizzou where the biggest strength is WR’s.

4-2-5 is a good defense if you have the personnel

This was a great game and how it was executed amazing

Why he waited this long to make proper adjustments is just crazy.

Good game Drink and please keep it up!

This absolutely proved he could have been getting better production from this year's roster this whole year.

The best adjustment was keeping cook on the move all game. Running him more and keeping him out of the pocket were what made Cook successful this game.

That is what fans have been clamoring for all season, too.

Had to jump on here and sing my praises. A top 25 win feels good after that 3 game rough patch where literally NOTHING would go right.

Key takeaways:
-Offense didn’t lose us the game. executed on 3rd down and (enough) in the Red Zone
- OL held its own. EJ Ndoma-Ogar looked good, he is big and looks the part
-Defense is legit. Both the line and the secondary have depth.

Bowl berth is within striking distance.

He is still learning and dealing with players that have been injured/not ready to play. It is all getting there at this time of the season. Next season is what I believe will be much better and be more prepared to win some of those games that have been losses this year. I am now seeing the future is looking good.

I hope this is the direction things are heading.

Time will tell. I think the transfer portal window will tell a lot about the impact of any momentum he picked up towards the end of this season for himself and the program. This roster could lose a couple of key pieces for 2023 if he hasn't sold his room/turned things around enough to provide reasons for optimism and buy in for the future.

I think regardless of the results this season, Drink will lose some key pieces. I think everyone has to just assume in the modern transfer portal, you are going to lose kids each year and you are going to lose some you just didn't expect to lose.
