Gerry Bohanon went to the Mizzou softball game this weekend with Drink. He was a All Big 12 honorable mention.

He was the starting QB for a 12-2 team that won the Big 12. He missed the last 3 games of the regular season with a hamstring injury. He came back and started the bowl game win over Ole Miss.

After the spring game Blake Shapen was named starter.

He had until yesterday to sign, so I guess we will hear soon.

I wonder if he lost the job due to bad play, or the freshman he lost to is legit.

It sounds like Shapen is a pro-style QB and Bohanon is a dual threat. I think Baylor is running a pro-style offense and wants a pure passer.

Shapen got hurt in the Big 12 championship game or he might have started in the bowl game against Ole Miss.

I thought Bohanon looked legit the couple of times I saw him. Looks like the prototypical Drink offense QB.

That’s what I was thinking. He really seems like a nice fit into Drinks system.

When I watched some Baylor YouTube highlights the one negative was he threw off his back foot a few times. It was in the pocket and throws downfield to his speedy WR’s.

He’s not a great thrower but he’s a James Franklin level runner.

Horn has a slot value of 71 a little under $900,000. HS players usually sign above slot value in the first 10 rounds.

Last year at pick 72 Pittsburgh picked Clemson QB signee Bubba Chandler for $3 million. Pick 72 had a slot value of $870,000.

Horn won’t get picked that high. The fact he has already signed and will be on campus during the draft will cause him to fall, but if he signs it will probably be around $1 million to $1.5 million.
