Boy, did he prove us wrong.

Best wishes to him. Dude deserves some kudos. He tried his best to take this team far in this tournament.

Upvote. He deserves props for what he did here. Wasn’t always pretty, but he really turned himself into something.

Geist is a helluva guy. Kinda Jason Sutherland without the hops.

Thanks for a great job at Mizzou, Jordan!

He became one of my all time favorite Tigers this year.
Just call him nails 'cause that kid is tough!

He should be making money in Europe this time next year.

He will probably stay in the Columbia area start coaching, farming, and marry Sophia Cunningham’s sister.

You got an upvote from me. I dogged him last year for his turnovers. Man did he change this year. Love his grit and never quit attitude. Life will bring him good things.

If I am Martin I try to bring Geist on to the staff for one more season to be there for Watson, Pinson, Pickett, Mario, Dru, and Mark Smith. I honestly think him harping on them and going through workouts with them maybe makes them better than anything Martin can say. Geist is walking motivation to those guys everyday and I think he'd be great to stick around one more year to remind them how work ethic and toughness makes a player, not just raw ability. I do believe Martin gets a lot out of them too just think peer motivation and from a captain like Geist would sit well with these young guys.

Was a fan for 2 yrs; I just like the way he played...even when he didn't make the best decision...100% all the time.

I cant believe anyone down voted this...clearly they do not understand effort and hard work, this kid always hustled and played with grit.

Need all of our players to give that kind of effort and dig down deep at all times.

How anyone can criticize a kid who played above his talent level to a D-1 SEC level talent is beyond me. He made his talent, definitely not born with the GOD given traits like most at this level have.
