Richaud Floyd playing cornerback for the Tigers today. Odom says staff is taking a look at him there, not necessarily a permanent move. More depth at WR right now and less at CB. "Now's the time to do it," Odom said.

Probably a good idea for him. I don’t see a lot of PT at WR available for him. Maybe he can take a spot from Petry or Sparks

Former Mizzou LB Michael Scherer has joined the MU staff as a defensive grad assistant.

Gicinto and Johnson aren't going to allow for many reps if they are healthy and there are better options outside.

Holmes was actually quite impressive once he got on the field at times.

He just needs to work on tugging at the jersey of receivers. He wasn’t as sly as he thinks he is doing that.

It ain’t a penalty if they don’t call it.

Staff panicking about how piss poor this backfield is? Really has the feel of grabbing at straws. Having said that, I'd be thrilled for Floyd to be an all SEC DB.

I hope this is sarcasm.

Floyd approached the staff about switching positions

Floyd moving to DB is not a bad idea, I like it.

But I am worried about our DB's.

Let me try again.

Our defensive backfield is as good as it gets. In fact, they are so good I may go to the spring game just to watch their unparalleled excellence. In fact, every time I think about our defensive backs a big smile comes across my face. I can't think of anything they don't do well. In fact, they are so good, players on other squads are lining up to just be a part of their meeting room. Can't ask for a better situation.

It speaks more to the skill depth IMO.

Exactly

And again, it was Floyd’s decision. Not the coaches
