Let's get it over with now.

He was out coached by Mark Fox tonight.

An absolutely ridiculous performance.

Down 2 in OT with 30 seconds left he calls a timeout and the best play we can come up with is to set two picks and throw up a spinning 3 on the inbound pass?

It almost seemed like the team, including coaches, expected just to show up and be handed a victory.

It's only one game, but I fear this may be the norm for the remainder of the season. I hope I'm wrong.

It seemed like there was a serious lack of scouting going on tonight. I don't think the players had any clue Djurisic could shoot like that.

Combine that with playing Jones and Rector early when we've barely seen them in the last few games makes me think Haith thought he could mess around in this game.

What a joke.

Correct. Additionally, it seems clear SEC refs aren't going to give Clarkson the calls he's been getting. Some adjustments will have to be made.

We didn't change a fricking thing the whole game. Haith's substitution patterns sucked. It was just an abomination of desolation.

I said last year that Xs and Os, and drawing up plays in games, is Haith's weakness. He got rid of the coach that was good at that. Now we have recruiters who can't coach in-game. That was an embarrassment. Congrats to Georgia, they were ready, and they wanted it more, and they showed heart. I was really disappointed tonight. We're better than that.

It seems we never do. This team has gotten by with the three guards carrying the team.

They will continue to be exposed if they cannot generate an inside game. As much as Pressey made me pull my hair out last year at the end of games, he had the ability to drive and dish for easy shots. That aspect is lacking from this team...it's all 1-on-1.

I hated the Haith hire when it happened. HATED it.

I was still skeptical following his first season which included Mizzou's biggest tournament choke of all time in the first round.

I was quite disappointed with Haith last year and his inability to control his player(you know who I'm talking about)

I am NOT happy with Haith so far this season. Tonight's loss was completely inexcusable.

I truly feel that we are going to have to suffer through a few more dismal seasons before he is finally shown the door.

Frank Haith is simply not a good basketball coach. Think I'm overreacting? Look at his tenure at Miami. That is all.

Are we really? If we are, it's not by much. I have been unimpressed with this team from the get go. They are sloppy, inconsistent, lackadaisical at times, and most certainly think they are better than what they actually are.

I blame only one person for that.

It hasn't been just one game. It's been all season but one half against UCLA and the NC State game. It was just masked by the fact that we've been playing the sisters of the blind but we didn't even win those games like a legitimate team would. Mizzou just lost to the worst team in the SEC on their home court.

Clueless on offense.
Poor rebounding.
Lack of energy.
Poor defense.
Continuing to allow players to play away from their strengths.
Poor clock management.

Just a few of the problems they've had all season, not just last night.

That's got to start with Haith putting Criswell's arse on the bench every time he ventures more than 10 feet away from the hoop. Criswell has a decent interior to mid-range game. For some reason, though, he has become our 3 point shooter and Brown is the one attacking the rim. Something wrong with that picture.

No energy.

No game plan.

No defense.

No offense.

No rebounding.

Pretty much what sums it up. In all honesty, this team is just not very good. I suspect they'll finish somewhere between 7th and 11th in the conference.

I thought Mizzou had some carryover talent from last year?

It could be worse man. Last night watching MSU I realized they didn't have anyone over 6'6 on their team and UK's starters are nearly all taller than that.

Its just the first game in the conference, but Mizzou should've beat UGA easily...

Lots of dumb in this post. At least you got one or two things right about UGA.

You think x's and o's is Haith's strength? You don't think Nestor was better with the x's and o's? You don't think last night was an embarassment?

Not sure what was so dumb in that post.
