I'm not going to lie and say he's going to hit double digit wins.

I think Eli's goal should be as simple as getting to bowl eligibility and just winning that game.

Basically the over/under being 7 games.

We'll be coming up on 8 years without a bowl win - which still blows my mind considering some of the teams we've had.

Where do you guys fall on expectations?

The schedule:
Sept. 3 at Middle Tennessee State
Sept. 10 at Kansas State
Sept. 17 Abilene Christian
Sept. 24 at Auburn
Oct. 1 Georgia
Oct. 8 at Florida
Oct. 22 Vanderbilt
Oct. 29 at South Carolina
Nov. 5 Kentucky
Nov. 12 at Tennessee
Nov. 19 New Mexico State
Nov. 25/26 Arkansas

90% or higher likely wins (5)
Sept. 3 at Middle Tennessee State
Sept. 17 Abilene Christian
Oct. 22 Vanderbilt
Oct. 29 at South Carolina
Nov. 19 New Mexico State

50/50 (5)
Sept. 10 at Kansas State
Oct. 8 at Florida
Nov. 5 Kentucky
Nov. 12 at Tennessee
Nov. 25/26 Arkansas

90% or higher likely losses (2)
Sept. 24 at Auburn
Oct. 1 Georgia

9 win season with bowl win.

2023 Should be the year we should be eyeing Atlanta for the SECCG.

Depends on who transfer and which transfers we bring in, but 8-4 should be the goal IMO. Should win all our OOC games, and then just have to go .500 in the conference.

As an outsider?

8-4.

I am not sure you beat us (you may very well) but I like your odds against Auburn.

I think you take your cream puff games. You beat K State. That puts you needing to go 2-4 for the rest of the schedule. Florida and Auburn are not going to be juggernauts next year.

My call, and I hope you don't beat us, is 8-4 and Drink gets to mix the elite freshmen in some.

Yeah, I'd say this is pretty much where I fall. I'd also say there is an equally as good a chance for us to go 7-5 with a bad loss or 9-3 with an unexpected victory.

I’d put Auburn in the 50/50 and guess 8-4.

drink fans keep moving the goal posts, when it comes to grading him.

they continue to blame cement head, and we will be in year 3 of drink.

You guys kill me 90% Cham every to beat S Carolina? Absolutely no reason to think that is true. I agree 8-4 should be a goal and show the move up we need.

No way that a win at South Carolina is 90% expected.

We have so many unknowns that I would put most games outside of the easy OOC games at toss ups right now. Other than Georgia.

Care to explain?

I expect a 9 win season next year (year 3) and a push for SECCG in 2023 (Year 4)

The program has had five 10 plus wins season in its history...

Also top 3 recruiting class in history this year.

I would put our chances to beat SCjr closer to 99%. shite program with an overhyped mental midget QB transfer

7-5

We still have some major holes on the roster, on defense specifically. We’ll miss Badie. Cook looked pretty good, but QB is largely unknown realistically.

WR, DE, S all look pretty strong. OL should be solid and deep. RB could have a high ceiling. CB will be pretty young. TE looks pretty average

DT could be a legitimate disaster if they don’t do something in the portal. LB could potentially be pretty weak too if they don’t add or have some of the young guys step up in a big way.

I look at 23 to be the year where we take a major step forward unless one of the QBs just goes crazy.

With the current roster 6-7 wins. The schedule is much more difficult than it was this year.

In a few months I could easily see a few wins added on but not right now.

QB- push(very slight improvement)
Rb- worse
WR - better
Te- push
OL - worse
DE - better
DT - worse
LB - worse(maybe a push)
DB- better
Safety - better
Kicking - better

Sept. 3 at Middle Tennessee State W
Sept. 10 at Kansas State L
Sept. 17 Abilene Christian W
Sept. 24 at Auburn W
Oct. 1 Georgia L
Oct. 8 at Florida W
Oct. 22 Vanderbilt W
Oct. 29 at South Carolina L
Nov. 5 Kentucky W
Nov. 12 at Tennessee L
Nov. 19 New Mexico State W

Bro, I agree with you much of the time but Harsin is the coach that knows Eli better than anyone in the SEC.

Also, its @ Auburn.

I would guess this be a blowout loss. You can quote me on that.

I'm sticking with 8-4 until it happens. Anything more is pure upside.

Re: Kentucky, they had a senior-loaded defense and tons of returning starters on both sides. Not sure how the covid year affects who can come back, but I think they will take a half-step back next year.

Our Oline should be better.

I’m not saying they will be. But they should be.
