There is no question who will be playing MLB next year. Hargreaves has 7 players to compete for WLB and SLB. One RS SR, Two players who will be JRs, a Sophomore, and 3 RS FR.
Cook and White have proven that they can play.
As frustrating as the DEs have been, it is similar to 2012 when Ealy and Sam were getting primary reps because Madison was hurt and there weren't any other upperclassmen. They came back the next year and destroyed the league. Williams and Turner may not combine for 31 TFLs but I think it's likely that they are better as Jrs than as Sophomores. Byars has been a stud the last two games with 10 total tackles.
QB is the big question. Whoever it is will be handing the ball off 40+ times a game.
Knox, Scott, Floyd, Johnson, Gicinto, and Freshman will be the two deep at WR next year. Young or not, the talent is there.

Yeah. I don’t see depth as a big issue next year. And even though we’re “13th” in the SEC rankings, we can live with these type of recruiting classes every year. It’s a high quality class.

Guys on the edge taking the next step and finding/developing a trigger man are big questions.
The RB room should be as deep as it has ever been. If running ball, wheel routes, screens, read option and hitting 9 routes vs one deep looks are to be the offense, one of the guys in the current QB room might work. Asking those guys to throw in the middle of the field beyond the second level might be a bit much. If they can convince the Clemson transfer to come to Columbia, they can run whatever offense they want to.
