I didn't say Pinkel was perfect. I said he ran a fundamentally sound team. Low turnovers and usually positive turnover margin. There are some things that BO does well but also a number of things he does not.

It did suck today that JJ isn’t credited with the interception. Shoulda caught it. Also sucks that McCann gets a missed FG that looked like it went through.

Oh well, on to usc.

Lock was awful and was hearing footsteps and having a decent amount of his passes blocked at the line of scrimmage and fumbled too many times. The receivers couldn't get open and had no separation. I thought Mizzou's defense played well.

PInkels team had a turn over streak of like 40 straight games. His teams were ballhawks. They often came up with big TOS in crunch time and rarely let go of many.

Always admired that about his team. You beat his team is was usually a point of talent or his Xs and Os ourchoachhing. Usually scheme.

Barry’s teams haven’t displayed near that level of clean football.

Lock wasn't awful, but he wasn't great. UGA was getting a good rush and we were missing our deep threat.

Also had several drops.

I don't like how the game happened. Turns out this was a very winnable game.

The thing I am extremely happy about is I feel like with a first half like that Mizzou normally folds and I was expecting a pounding the second half. Competitive second half against the top shelf SEC is what I wanted to see.

I was amazed at how many drops we had. Feels real bad.

We definitely played our "stupidest" game of the season.

I would also make the defensive backs watch film of Mizzou on offense. Our WR's pretty much couldn't get open at all the entire game. Whoever thought UGA's back 7 were vulnerable couldn't be more wrong.

Well... We handicapped ourselves by running a WE out there that couldn’t do anything. That influenced the entire passing attack by not sitting Hall.

I could have sworn the FG was good but figured I had a bad angle. How did it look on TV?

Y'all tell me why I'm wrong.

Thought BO lost his balls a bit at the end of the first. UGA had it 4th down. We weren't going to call time out. Let about 20 seconds run off before calling a timeout only because we had the wrong personnel or left someone wide open. We ended up holding them. Would have liked to have seen him show more confidence in his team, both the defense to hold them and the offense to be able to move the ball.

This was overall very encouraging.

The fact it was so encouraging is why it's also so frustrating.

It was there.

We could have taken it.

I had to miss the game but sounds like some really shitty officiating happened as well.

Barry has a read on Kirby, which is a good sign.

Purdue hammer pounded a really good BC team today. That's nice too.

People should be very happy with the sturdy and doing-it-right program Barry is building.

Barry is going for it in unconventional 4th down spots.

Guy has as big of balls in college football and believes in his guys.

Maybe he should have called a timeout.

But either way that's the wrong narrative to go with.

Narratives are for conspiracy theorists. I was just asking a question. Just for the record. I think BO has shown lots of balls this year. Which is why I thought he lost them a bit there. Went into half down what? 13? Thought it was a chance to get a score (even a FG) and get the ball back to start the 2nd half. Bigger picture is it probably wouldn't have mattered. Would have just liked to have seen the confidence shown in his team.

Dooley gets too pass heavy in the 2 minute offense. In both the second and fourth quarters Mizzou had a chance to run some in those situations. Doing that some slows the pass rush, which Adams struggled with today.

I thought we definitely should have ran it more. Especially on 3rd/4th and short.

I agreed with the call fwiw. UGA had all the momentum at that point and a score may have put the nail in the coffin at that point.

I want my coach to be aggressive, but there are also times when you have to be smart. Momentum swings are so important in football games.

While we all are turning this abortion into a moral victory, UK not only beat Miss St., but boat raced them.

Fitzgerald is a garbage QB so this isn’t surprising. Snell was always gonna be a load. UKs QB is trash too though.

Anyway. Beating UK this year is a must for a higher quality bowl.

UK had 71 passing yards,I think we match up pretty well with them.

Good for them.

MSU is highly overrated. Georgia is not
